As the last bell rang, his attention was captured by a thin boy with curly black hair and striking blue eyes heading toward his desk. Charlie Spring. He carried himself timidly, Nick noticed as he got closer. But even after seeing him, Nick still couldn’t pinpoint where he’d heard of him before, because he definitely did not recognize him.
Nick felt like he would’ve remembered him, had they met before.

My name is Nick Nelson. I am 16 years old. I like dogs, Marvel, Formula 1, my dog Nellie, and rugby. The school calls me the 'rugby king', but I think that might be a bit of an overstatement. The school I go to is one of the only two grammar schools in our small town. I go to the Truham Grammar School for Boys, or 'Truham', and the other grammar school is the Harvey Greene Grammar School for Girls. or 'Higgs'. This would be the part where I would say if I had a girlfriend, but I honestly don't have anyone I'm genuinely interested in yet.

so i decided to write heartstopper but as a novel + in nick nelson's perspective. the plot is mostly from the tv show (no aled or oliver im so sorry) but i am working some parts from the comics that were sadly left out in the show that i couldnt let go and maybe starting new subplots like nick's friendship with charlie's friend group and his sexuality journey etc!
note: my writing style will be partially taken from solitaire!!
this was meant to just be a personal project but i hope it makes some people happy
