Summary
Merlin slept for a week after bringing Arthur back from Camlann. Arthur worried Merlin had somehow imparted his own life force into him, draining himself, but Gaius assured him it was most likely just the level of magic Merlin had used that had exhausted him.
Accounts from the area certainly seemed to confirm that story. People had seen a god, or so they said. When Arthur lifted the magic ban, it passed almost without resistance. Whatever Merlin had done, whatever he’d been, people had seen the divine, and known it was magic itself.
When magic itself woke, he told Arthur never to do that to him again, and called him a variety of names for good measure.

Summary
Arthur is under a spell that is making him do irrational, out of character things like kiss Merlin- it's not like it's some emotion heightening spell and Arthur has always felt this way. That would be crazy.

Summary
Arthur finds out Merlin's secret - and he does not react well.
Arthur snatched his sword up from the ground, rolled back onto his feet and lunged forward quickly to bring the point to Merlin's chest and keep him away. "Stay where you are," he said and Merlin stopped, his eyes going wide in panic.

Summary
Merlin and Arthur share an unspoken arrangement. On rare evenings, they drink to excess, casting aside their cares and responsibilities, and spending the nights together in secret. Neither of them speaks of these encounters; it's a wordless ritual, full of glances and gestures, understood but never spoken aloud. In these scarce, stolen hours, they find solace, escape and a fleeting sense of companionship they can't find elsewhere.
Under the pressure of building feelings and an interrupted evening, Merlin begins to ask the question: How much longer will this be enough?

Summary
Arthur has never cared about being proper around Merlin because Merlin has never been one to treat him properly. Still, it's rare for Arthur to slip and use his alpha voice, knowing that, even to the beta he believes Merlin to be, it's an overt exertion of power. The few times Arthur has commanded his servant in such a way, he usually orders Merlin to "shut up" or "go away", and Merlin can play it off like he's following Arthur's orders too literally in retaliation, until he's able to find the one alpha that knows about him (thank the Gods for Lancelot!) and convince him to override Arthur's order with his own.
This time he doesn't get the chance.
[Merlin gets stuck in Arthur's chambers without his suppressants or his scent blockers. Things turn out much better than he expects...]
