Summary
“That stuff’ll put you in an early grave, you know.” It's the early 1900s, and work is elusive for a man with blackened pits for eyes. Groundskeeping is the first and last job Stuart Pot will ever have.
In which Stuart digs graves while Murdoc fails to stay in one, and it's not quite the comedy of errors it ought to be. Alternately: How Stuart (Never Really) Learned to Stop Worrying and (Failed to) Love a Living Corpse.

Summary
Murdoc whistles lowly, “Touchy subject. Did your boss tell you why you’re kidnapping me?”
Not that it matters, but Murdoc can’t stand the thought of someone else knowing why he’s running from the castle. He eyes Glowstick carefully, gauging his reaction.
Only silence hangs between them for a moment after that with Glowstick staring at him too. “Not my place to hear about the exploits of royalty,” he says evenly. “I’m just here to kidnap you.”
