Neteyam reaches out and grabs the small shell he had strung up as a necklace, and Aonung's heart is hammering wildly. For a second, he fears Neteyam might rip it off and take this thing that always reminds him of the other boy away. But he just holds it in a loose grip, examining.
His calloused hand is warm on his sternum, knuckles grazing his skin."What happened to not letting things fester, Aonung?"
In which Aonung let's the internalized prejudices and self-doubt get the better of him, but Neteyam believes in second chances.

Neteyam was a soft, slim boy. Ever since he entered his teenage years he had known he would present as an omega.
It set him apart from the other Na'vi. Not as much as his brother, but enough that his presentation made him a more desirable prospect as a mate for those that swung that way.
Na'vi normally didn’t present, their instincts not as strong as those of humans, but it did happen sometimes.
Still, there had never been an Male Omega able to get pregnant, even if they always hoped. Until Neteyam, that is.

this is my first fic but I love these guys with my whole heart, I’ve been obsessed with avatar ever since I watched the first movie when I was little and it’s been the centre of my world. I cried so much but we’re not gonna talk about that.
