"Tony groaned, clapping a hand over his eyes as Steve lifted an enormous slice of chocolate cake and began digging in. “I bet you my fortune that's not his first piece.”
“It's not,” Bucky said, “it's his second,” then wished he could swallow his words. He hadn't meant to reveal he'd been monitoring Steve quite so closely.
Tony didn't seem to notice, though. “I mean, don't get me wrong, he looks good, very nineties chunk hunk, but someone's gotta tell him he's getting chubby, and I vote you.”
“No,” Bucky said, annoyed. “Who cares?”
Tony opened his mouth indignantly, then closed it. Then, finally, shrugged. “Good point,” he said. "
(In which Steve doesn't realize he's getting fat, but everybody else does.)

Wow. I read this a while back but I can’t stop thinking about it. I was like, “I’ll take a couple of days to compose my thoughts,” but no, still scrambled with adoration. SO good. I love this dynamic and Eddie finally being able to let go. I’m still speechless. -

What if she was there for revenge against one Dr Jonathan Crane but along the way the Joker has other idea's for her, drawing her in and intrigued by this damaged psychiatrist who ignores him right off the bat. A tale of revenge, of redirected priorities and how the Joker and Harley come together.
My own twist on the Joker/Harley relationship and her origin story based upon the idea of Dr Jonathan Crane being her professor at Gotham University.Series
