Summary
Elves and humans have never had much in common - one being humans’ lack of soulmates. But after returning Zym to his mother, the human kingdoms and Xadia had begun to grow closer. Now the tenuous peace that exists between their races is threatened by the presence of Moonshadow elves in Katolis, making their reunion anything but fun. Rayla is part of a Moonshadow delegation intent on stomping out this problem before it takes root. It’s not the reunion either had wanted, especially with unresolved feelings still buried in both elf and human hearts’.
Eager to overcome their differences, Rayla and Callum team up to investigate the issue, sensing that it is more complex than it may seem.
