Summary
The one time Robby’s too worked up to fumble with the lock behind his back.
And then the door’s open.
Whitaker stood there in the doorway, almost reduced to a silhouette, just enough light to catch a glimpse of his face. All doe-eyed and starry, looking like he’s stumbling over his words, except no sound is coming out of his mouth. Like a deer in headlights, motionless and twitching all at once.

Summary
Robby leans against the doorway and catches Dennis's eyes in the mirror. He quirks up an eyebrow and flicks his eyes in the direction of the toilet. Dennis nods, takes a step forward, his hands going to the tie at the waist of his scrub pants, when he feels Robby move behind him, a kiss of air pressure that's not enough to be anything more than matter, shifting through space, and when it stops, Robby is leaning against the sink basin next to the toilet, his arms crossed and his gaze leveled expectantly at Dennis.
It's…too fucking weird, mostly because it's not actually that weird at all. Maybe it's the eternal clinician that lives inside Robby, or the way his breath shakes almost imperceptibly on the exhale, but Dennis doesn't feel nearly as uncomfortable as he probably should under Robby's steady gaze.
or
Dennis gets dehydrated enough that he almost passes out during rounds, and Robby decides he just can't have that.

Summary
The index finger at his sternum felt like the muzzle of a gun. Whitaker’ heart jumped further up his throat. He could feel his heartbeat burning on his tongue.
“Do you just do whatever people tell you?”
Whitaker fucks up. Then Robby fucks up worse.Bookmarked by jams_mlp

Summary
“‘Hey’ yourself, Doctor. Don’t see you out here much anymore,” Dana says with a questioning smile. Robby’s face was grim. Not lost-a-patient grim, but colder than it usually was.
“Could I get one of those,” he replies, gesturing to the pack of cigarettes in her hand.
“Ha!” she barks out a laugh, “not a chance. It was miserable enough being around you when you were quitting the first time. And the second. And the third. What the hell happened that’s making you think this,” she waved her half-smoked cigarette around to emphasize her words, “is the solution?”
A sigh. “I think Whitaker is… into me.”
