Jason prowled through the halls of 'Eth Alth'eban looking for a little bird—and found him coming out of the library. “Jason,” Tim said, eyes wide with surprise—and then he gasped as Jason pinned him to the wall, his hand at his throat.
“What are you doing here?” he snarled. “You already replaced me in Gotham, you wanted to replace me here, too?”
“No,” Tim whispered, his voice ragged. “I was… looking…”
Jason loosened his grip and Tim sucked in a deep breath. “Looking for what?”
“Bruce,” Tim said, and Jason frowned.
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
Tim blinked at him. “Jason, Bruce is gone.”
