    While fighting a powerful meta, Dick gets thrown into another universe. A new city. He meets Spiderman, the embattled protector of New York City, and decides to help fix the problem he brought into Spiderman's world. He's almost grateful to be away from Gotham at the moment.

    Peter doesn't want to trust anyone after Mysterio, but he reluctantly agrees to work with Nightwing. They have a lot in common, and Peter is eager to learn from the more experienced vigilante. Slowly, they gain each other's trust and bond over the insanity that is the superhero existence.

    Summary

    Of course, Peter Parker had never had an easy life. Apart from the radioactive spider bite, a teensy bit of trauma and vigilantism at what, fourteen or fifteen? Being involved with a angry homicidal grape had really topped it off.

    Waking up in green goo isn't the best vacation destination, but rebuilding your life isn't either. Follow young slightly chaotic Peter as he navigates Gotham and the interesting furries vigilantes that help him out on a few things.

    OR

    Peter in Gotham one shots, with Batfamily and some crack mixed in at a few points. Reading in order isn't needed, but its recommended to make sense of the later jokes/allusions to earlier plot.

    He was found out. He got sloppy and everything was ruined. He ran to the Realms but he was still half human. So he was sent to Gotham with a new identity to make a life and keep his human half healthy. They even enrolled him in school! Gotham Academy was nothing like Casper High.

    And then he saw the Wayne kids and his life got more complicated. He knew there was something off about them but not what. And it didn't help that Timothy Wayne was stunning, pity his personality didn't match his looks.

    The last time the Wayne kids took interest in a human, said human ended up one of them. As that once human, Tim refused to make the same mistake. Besides, the new kid smelt weird. But why couldn't Tim read him? Was he a threat? He didn't have time to deal with him anyway, not with the nights in Gotham getting ever more dangerous.

    “I couldn’t help but overhear that you’ve subjugated humanity.”

    A purr rumbles in Dick’s chest. “They were fools to stand against us. I warned them from the beginning.”

    “Wow.” Tim shakes his head slowly. “Hearing that from you is - weird.”

    “You know of an alternate me?”

    “Yeah. He’s - well. I guess he used to be my mentor. I’m not really sure what we are anymore.”

    “He’s human?”

    “Mostly. He’s got the Sight and a wanderer’s Spirit but he’s still probably more human than the rest of us. He definitely acts like it, at least.” The smile that crosses his lips is small and sad. “He was my hero once, but he doesn’t approve of what I’m doing. Not anymore.”

    “What would he think of me?”

    “You?” Tim looks up at him, as if seeing him for the first time. There’s humor in his eyes, made morbid by the words that follow. “You would horrify him.”
