Summary
They thought it would be simple mission. 30-minute trip to seal a stellaron blocking the express's path.
Soon they would learn they were very wrong when Caelus is not only attacked by a stellaron, but goes missing as Dan Heng and March are knocked out and find themselves back on the express.
The twist?
They find themselves an entire year in the past.
The duo go searching for their missing companion, but soon find out more about his past as they go on and forced to fight against an unrecognizable version of him.

"I have always paid attention," Dan Heng says, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "But I have only recently come to realize that observation without action has little value, when action is what is required."
That sounds more profound than it should, out of Dan Heng's mouth. "Am I really coming off that pathetic?"
"Would you not do the same for me?" Which isn't a no, actually.
