Summary
With each exhale Reigen watches his breath rise, following the pattern of air passing through and warping around the breeze. He smokes as he always does, holding it behind his teeth on the exhale, hoping the next breath might be the one that causes his chest to seize, his blood to thicken, his lungs to burst — ammunition in the barrel of revolver he’d never stop spinning, too afraid of russian roulette to stop the cowardice and just blow his fucking brains out already.
But that’s what this was. The compromise Reigen had made with himself as he was drawn from about a hundred missed calls and mild thoughts of stepping into traffic, by the warm clasp of Serizawa’s hand on his shoulder and an invitation to come with him to try some new ramen place that had just opened up, class cancelled for the afternoon.
He wondered then, if Serizawa knew. If the cracks had finally shown through the surface of his ghoulish porcelain mask, if Serizawa was actually that observant.
A deal, then. One moment to put the gun down and pretend he’d won, if only for long enough to find the lone bullet and fire.

Summary
“Has anyone taken the time to tell you, you look phenomenal?” A finger loops through the O-ring at the front of Mob’s harness, and Reigen tugs, drawing himself in closer to murmur conspiratorially by the boy’s ear, pressing hot against his thigh, bold and drunk and Mob feels himself burn.
He understands intimately that Reigen mustn’t realise who he is. There’s no universe in which he spots Mob in a shady gay club at midnight and approaches like this. His boss smells like sweet, citrus liquor and cigarettes and Mob knows it isn’t right, morally speaking, to say nothing and let this all play out.
But Mob can’t say no, can’t lose the opportunity to see what Reigen comes to seedy clubs like this to do with boys who look like him.
