what if at some point ashlyn has the breakthrough OR breakdown that everything that’s happened is her fault because of her birth/ phantom hearing and tries to k1ll herself because she thinks that if she dies then the cycle will end and her friends and family will be free. i feel like once the group is reunited it will happen and she’ll have a panic attack and grab a knife or gvn and try and commit but get stopped by someone. maybe aiden or it would be cool to see tyler interact with her like that. or taylor as kinda her best friend in a way. or maybe ashlyn would go about it differently and explain her theory and get yelled at by the gang bc there’s no way in hell they’re letting her do that. or maybe she’d just run away from all of them, which is less probable due to her sense of responsibility when it comes to the group. or maybe she’ll snap. i would love to see an ashlyn breakdown in front of everyone in season three.post season 2 my continuation! it’s my first real fic so please be nice!

Everyone escapes back to the motel without getting separated, yet they’re forced to reconsider their strategy. The six teenagers need to learn how to resist the Phantoms’ corrupting influence, as well as explore their own supernatural abilities. Their enemies are many, and their potential friends are few.
To investigate the true nature of the Phantoms—and determine whether they are the only humans with access to the other dimension—the road to New York will be much longer than they first thought.

Or; At the end of season 2 the crew doesn’t get separated, so they go on a training arc, break into military bases in the phantom dimension, plot against everyone... and find their own way through a labyrinth of bisexual confusion (very slowly).
