As she gazed at her reflection, warped in the water’s ripples, she wondered where Kagome was, and recalled Kaede’s only sentence about her: Kagome is a strange girl.
Yes, she thought, looking away from he reflection. Strange indeed.
And though it completely denied her nature to do so, she smiled at the thought.
