Summary
It was on one of these lonesome Friday nights that I came across a small man I’d come to know as Cornelius. The dusk light was low, and I had yet to acquire an appreciation for small men - I disliked how tall I felt alongside the ones I’d been with before Cornelius - so I might have kept on walking if not for the way the cigarette clenched between his lips illuminated his features. He had a face like the work of some mad artist who had set to recreating James Dean with only a variety of triangles and a pair of bright eyes at his disposal; a slender profile that appeared both roughish and delicate at once.
Haight-Ashbury, spring 1966. William Gibson gets acquainted with a handsome stranger.

Summary
Tozer knew a man had a soul; and he knew with the same confidence that the thing that had once been Hickey had one no longer. Indeed, Hickey’s soul was inside each of them now: it had been far too big for his slight, delicate body all along, and they’d had to do their part to relieve him of it.

Summary
On the 4th of July 1945, the Bahia was acting as a convoy for aircrafts flying between the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of war. Her gunners were firing at a kite for anti-aircraft practice, when one aimed too low and hit her depth charges, resulting in an explosion that sank her within minutes. Few of the primarily Brazilian crew survived the blast, and fewer still were alive when their rafts were discovered days later.
Sources agree that four American crewmen perished.

Uniforms were abound of all branches, not barring internationals. Along with the French and their wine cellars on top of wine cellars back at their own homes, and the lone soldier or two of other allies. Infiltrating and guzzling the precious few drops left for Francis to have in a country that wasn't even fully his anymore. Damn them, damn them all to Berlin and back, he thought.
But worst of all, occupying his usual barstool, was a green-beaked, jolly little American. A gunner's mate, by the looks of it, all sharp and slick in his black uniform, slashed with white. And Christ, at Francis' withering glare, he had just smiled.Bookmarked by orlopsexdungeon

Summary
Having witnessed Tuunbaq devour a man's soul Tozer seeks comfort from entirely the wrong man. A little extension of the canon scene from Hickey's POV, in which Hickey is a little kinder, but not too much.
The E rating is for language, not actions.
