    "You really think so?" Aether mumbled through a mouthful of apple, glistening juices coating his rosy lips and dripping down his chin, his Adam's apple bobbing sinfully as he swallowed.

    His wide, amber eyes gleamed from Varka's praise as he looked up at him, a small, pink tongue innocently darting out to lick some of the fruit juice from the edges of his mouth. Varka could have sworn his heart skipped several beats at the sight.

    Varka stiffened and quickly turned away, coughing awkwardly into his fist as a warm flush crept along the back of his neck. This boy was surely going to be the death of him.

    TLDR: Aether, Varka, and a juicy apple.
    (This fic is set after Varka and Traveler (Aether) have returned from Nod-Krai!)
