Ouch.
Despite this being a Levi-centric fic, I can’t help but appreciate Hange’s characterization. They felt super in character almost the whole time, and it was super sad to see them struggling just as much as Levi, especially because it’s barely talked about in the fandom or even the canon material. Their fight also really hurt because it was so raw and the masks were off. You could really see both of their struggles at face value. -
