Summary
Bucky could come up with metaphors for how he felt all day but nothing compared to the pure unbridled yearning he felt for the man who was kind enough to harbor him. Bucky didn’t deserve that love. And even if he did, Clint didn’t deserve Bucky’s problems. There had to have been a mistake somewhere. Whatever god was looking over his life must’ve misplaced his feelings for a childhood fling into Clint Barton and now he was staring at the wrong back muscles cooking him breakfast. There was absolutely no way this was going to end well.

A spark started in Clint’s heart. One he thought would’ve been stomped out a while ago. He watched Bucky smile to himself and then glance out of the window, “The snow is lifting. We should get a move on.”
Clint snapped his head back to the dashboard, “Ah, yeah.” He started the car. It took a few tries, the motor barely functioning in the cold. The heat began to circulate through the car as Clint turned, finding his way to the main road again. Now was no time to pine over unrequited feelings.
