Summary
When Rey gets called to be on a new reality tv show, she's thrilled; the half-a-million dollar prize money will allow her to get her own place and pursue her degree. All she has to do is survive in the remote Alaskan wilderness longer than the other contestants on the show.
Aside from Kylo Ren—her closest neighbor and toughest competitor—it seems like it's going to be pretty easy.
However, when no adults come to check on her and her radio goes silent, Rey realizes that the game is over. Now, survival is no longer optional. If you lose, you die.
