Summary
After graduation, Reki and Langa have to say their final goodbye.
Langa’s off to Florida to study Marine Biology, while Reki is chasing his dream of traveling the world. A year later, fate throws them back together at college. Only now, Langa’s barely keeping his head above water with classes and labs, while Reki spends his days lounging on boats and living easy.
To make things worse, Langa’s professors couldn’t be more opposite: Cherry, his English professor, and Joe, Biology. Despite being in opposite fields, they share an office. Apparently they were childhood friends, you would never be able to tell by the way they bicker.
When a mysterious treasure-hunting app reawakens, Joe and Cherry are dragged into a high-stakes game, only to discover their old anonymous partner was never a stranger at all.

“You’ve been quiet. Are you jealous?”
Reki lurches up. “Jealous of what?”
Miya’s brow angles impossibly higher. “Of all the attention the prince is getting?”
Right, of course. That’s what anyone would be jealous over. “I just don’t believe it. Prince Langa isn’t…” he waves one hand, frowning, “...like that.”
“Ha,” Miya crows. “Like you’d know.”
But he does. And Reki thinks: I could do it. I could make him smile. I’ve done it before.
