    Summary

An ongoing series where two touch-starved men figure out how to take care of each other in ways that no military field guide ever covered. Thankfully, when you already trust a person with your life, letting them see you at your most vulnerable isn't nearly as hard as it sounds.

Non-sexual intimacy, physical touch, a little angst, and a lot of comfort.

    Bookmarker's Notes

stunning exploration of the most base of human desires, and a commentary on fighting the visceral urge to hide when given the opportunity to do the one thing we can not survive without— connection.

    Summary

A series of hellos, from early friendship to more.

"Webs has been suspiciously easy to find lately. Wade's trying not to read too much into it.

(Pbbbbtttt, yeah right. Oh, baby is he reading into it alright, he's reading hard, he's reading like it's 3am and he's half-way through a smokin' hot long fic, red-eyed and chubbed up.)"

    Bookmarker's Notes

did i imagine that i was going to cry about this? no. no i did not. however! i did. i cried very normally with a reasonable amount of stoicism and sniffling while my chest got so tight with the giddy-bug that i thought i was gonna have to grab my inhaler. this is peak i-can-fix-him fluff, except the fixing is less an action being taken and more wholehearted and unconditional acceptance being offered while simultaneously out-stubborning someone elses self hatred.

this fic was my very own peter parker and shifted my existing self-perception like, two centimeters to the left. its delightfully funny, tooth-rottingly sweet, and unbearably beautiful. i can not recommend it enough.

    Summary

Peter is a comic books fan, which is probably pretty weird considering he's an actual superhero, but whatever. He's made peace with it.

Now an adult with a full-time job to juggle on top of his Spider-Man duties, he doesn't have time to read most releases for his favorite characters, save for one: Deadpool. He keeps up religiously with Deadpool. Even has a poster of him on his wall, and even occasionally talks to that poster just to keep the crippling loneliness of his double-life at bay.

Deadpool's newest and most mysterious series, Deadpool: Arrival, is... strange. The plot is paper thin and pointless, none of Deadpool's usual crowd shows up, and his fourth wall breaks are... weird. Like, weird weird. Uncanny, some might say.

Or, really, one might say. Because the longer Peter reads, the more he begins to realize that all those fourth wall breaks, all those weird asides, seem to be tailored to one person, and one person alone: himself.
