If life could be kind to them, maybe Dabi would be reflected back in the puddle with him. And instead of wearing the garb of a villain and a hero draping the two of them, Dabi is wearing sweats and a T-shirt, maybe it’s raining, and maybe Hawks is wearing something similar––loose and comfortable, and why is it when that image is conjured to mind he doesn’t see his wings?

Summary
With Touya away at work, Keigo has been trying for nearly two hours, with no luck, to put their daughter to sleep.There are only a few things in the world that work to put her into a quick slumber, as they unfortunately realized that more days than most Yua was the type of baby who preferred to gaze upon the world, blue eyes bright and taking in every moment with wonder and curiosity.
Or, nearly seven years after Touya and his choice to run away together, the two of them have settled into a small town in a village away from Japan. Now, with a daughter to take care of, Keigo is trying to soothe her into a nap, but Keigo is convinced she just wants her other dad––who happens to be at work.

In a daze, he reached into his pocket and felt for the small wooden figure he’d been carrying for Thomas. His fingers brushed against it, then slid over a piece of paper—an almost unconscious habit now, checking to make sure it was still there. After everything he’d just seen, the image of the woman and the grieving man seared into his mind, Newt made a decision.
He stopped short, his grip tightening on Thomas’ hand, drawing him to a halt. Thomas turned, the question already forming in his surprised gaze.
“I need to talk to you, Tommy. Just you. It’ll only take a second.”
or: Newt learns he isn't immune to the Flare and decides to take precautions. Thomas does not like this.
