Summary
The choice was made. Anthony Edward Stark was supposed to become a human sacrifice for the Bird-king, a very old demon plaguing the lives of villagers. Chained to the stone, on his knees, and waiting for his death or worse, the white veil from his head is slowly lifted and the eyes of the demon and the blacksmith meet for the first time. Neither of them expects what happens next.
