Chapter 27: Day 26 of 28
Meredith and Addison wake up in the morning still spooning each other happily.
"Good morning sunshine," says Meredith, as she yawns, and sees Addison wake up next to her.
"Morning," Addison yawns, pulling Meredith closer.
They lean in, and share a gentle kiss.
"We have a clean kitchen," Meredith smiles.
"Yes we do, all those hours of scrubbing," Addison chuckles.
"Do you want noodles for breakfast?" Meredith offers.
"Sure," says Addison.
"I think I can make them myself," says Meredith.
"Are you sure?" says Addison skeptically.
"I'm sure. I just boil the water, put the noodles in a bowl, pour the water over, put a plate on top, and wait for two minutes," says Meredith.
"Alright, go ahead," says Addison. "And thank you."
Meredith kisses Addison again before she goes to make breakfast, making coffee too while she's at it.
Addison rises and joins Meredith in the kitchen.
"Hey, are you checking up on me?" says Meredith suspiciously.
"No, I just wanted to kiss you," says Addison, as she pulls Meredith in for a kiss.
"Mm, cute, but I think you were checking up on me," says Meredith as they pull away.
"Okay, I was," says Addison. "Didn't want another fire," she laughs.
"It's sweet," says Meredith, as she kisses Addison again.
"Here, let's eat," says Meredith, as she sets the bowls of soup on the table.
"Yum," says Addison, as she pours herself a cup of coffee to go with it.
"So, we have a wedding to attend this evening," Meredith smiles.
"We have a wedding to attend," Addison smiles back.
"Let's have fun with it, let's get dressed up," says Meredith.
"Yeah, that'll be fun," Addison agrees.
They watch a bit of television, and make out on the couch before work, arriving an acceptable amount of time before it starts.
"Hey Teddy," says Meredith, as she learns she's on a case with her this afternoon.
"Hey," says Teddy. "Are you excited for Arizona and Callie's wedding?" says Teddy.
"Absolutely," says Meredith. "Especially because I missed the first one!"
"What were you doing?" Teddy tries to remember.
"Marrying Derek," Meredith giggles.
"Oh!" Teddy laughs.
"Well, it helped us adopt Zola," Meredith smiles.
"Definitely important," says Teddy. "I'm so excited for this wedding but I'm nervous," says Teddy.
"Oh, why?" says Meredith.
"Cristina's gonna be there," says Teddy.
"Ooh," Meredith giggles.
"Hey, it's not funny," says Teddy.
"What exactly is going on between you two?" Meredith asks Teddy suspiciously.
"Nothing, or something, I don't know. We talk all the time, she calls me, and I call her, and we text, and send each other photos- no, not those kinds of photos Meredith, just regular photos, and she tells me about her research, and I tell her about Seattle, and I miss her, you know?" says Teddy.
"Yeah, I get that," says Meredith.
"And just feel butterflies when I talk to her, she's so talented. She always was. I mean, the first day I met her she was so talented. I think she taught me more than I ever taught her…" Teddy says wistfully.
"You always were her favorite teacher," Meredith says, while wiggling her eyebrows at Teddy.
"I was?" Teddy beams.
"You were," Meredith smiles at her. "Hey, you get along great, it'll be fun tonight. Let's celebrate," she adds.
"You're right. I've got to calm down and celebrate," says Teddy.
"That's the spirit," says Meredith, grinning.
"Easy for you to say, you and Addison are so happy together," says Teddy.
"We've been through a whole lot to get there," says Meredith.
"I can imagine," says Teddy.
"Yeah," says Meredith. "We have."
"Would you be okay with it? If I dated Cristina?" asks Teddy.
"Yeah, I'd be okay with it," Meredith smiles.
"Are you going to rough me up about it?" asks Teddy.
"I don't have to," Meredith giggles. "Believe me, if you hurt her, Cristina, will hurt you herself."
"True, she's kinda scary like that…" says Teddy. "I think I like it though."
"I know you do," Meredith laughs.
Later on, Addison brings Meredith a coffee once she's finished her surgery.
"Thanks," Meredith smiles, as she takes it appreciatively.
Addison has one herself, and they head to Meredith's office to enjoy them.
"I put some chocolate syrup in mine, to make it a mocha," says Addison.
"Thank you!" says Meredith, nodding appreciatively. "It's good!"
"All of my favorite hot beverages in one," says Addison. "So I was thinking of cooking barbeque tonight, would you be interested in that?" says Addison.
"Sounds delicious," says Meredith, as she kisses Addison sweetly before they head their separate ways.
Addison orders groceries to be delivered to their house after work, and Meredith picks them up and puts them away while Addison gets out the recipe.
It's a whole affair with pork chops in sauce, vegetables, and a side salad.
"This is amazing," says Meredith.
"Thanks," says Addison.
"You're amazing, you know that?" says Meredith.
"Ah, that would be you," Addison quips happily.
Meredith starts on the dishes right away, and Addison helps her, and after everything is finished, Addison presses Meredith up against the edge of the counter.
"You're hot," says Meredith. "And I want to celebrate that."
"You do?" Meredith quips, as she allows Addison to press her hips flush against her own.
"Oh-" Addison moans, as Meredith pulls her closer with her hands on her waist.
"Kiss me," says Meredith, as she brings her lips to meet Addison's.
It's sensual, and Addison quickly lifts Meredith up onto the countertop so she has better access, and moves her lips down to her neck, and then to her shoulder.
"Your skin is so soft," says Addison, as she bites gently onto Meredith's shoulder.
"Oh yeah, oh yeah-" says Meredith, as Addison runs her tongue along the bite marks, and then kisses them soundly.
"This is going to leave marks," says Addison, stopping before Meredith doesn't have any choice in the matter.
"Do it," says Meredith. "I want- I need to feel you Addie, I'll wear a long-sleeved shirt tomorrow," says Meredith, as Addison sinks her teeth into her shoulder harder.
"Ohhh-" Meredith says, as she leans back and gently feels the back of the cupboard at the back of her head.
"Come on," says Addison. "We need to be in the bedroom."
"Yes please," says Meredith as she squeals because Addison picks her up, and carries her, and Meredith wraps her legs tightly against Addison's waist as Addison makes her way up the stairs, and all but throws Meredith onto the bed.
"Yes-" Meredith hisses as Addison tosses her, and she crawls up the bed in a predatory manner before she's finally straddling her girlfriend.
"I want you," says Addison, purring into Meredith's ear.
"You have me," says Meredith. "Make me yours."
"You are mine," says Addison, as she runs her hands up and down Meredith's body, and settles on her top.
"I'm going to take this off now," says Addison, as she slips it over Meredith's head, too impatient for buttons.
"And now I'm going to take off your bra," says Addison, as she unsnaps it.
"And now, I'm going to kiss every little place I can reach…" says Addison, as she begins trailing her tongue downwards, planting kisses from Meredith's clavicle down to her chest, between her breasts, and all over her belly.
Meredith groans and whimpers until she's writhing beneath Addison, and totally comfortable and content.
Addison explores Meredith's breasts with her tongue again, and places her hand on Meredith's hips to keep them down when Meredith bucks them once she reaches the blonde's hardened nipples.
"These are so perfect," says Addison lovingly, as she opens her mouth wide and takes one deeply into her mouth, while she palms and gropes at the other one.
It feels amazing, and Meredith grips onto Addison's hair to keep Addison steady, and Addison moves her tongue all around her nipple until she switches to the other breast, and she repeats the same motions, and Meredith loves it.

Meredith wiggles until her pants come off, and Addison tosses them successfully in the laundry basket over her shoulder.
"Goal!" says Addison.
"You're a basketball star," Meredith teases.
"I'm tall, I basically had to be," says Addison.
"That's hot," says Meredith, as she stares up at Addison and resists the temptation to flip them both over and ravish her girlfriend like there's no tomorrow.
She really would love to do that, but this night isn't about her. It's about Addison being comfortable with things, and Meredith is more than happy to let Addison take the reins.
She never wants to pressure Addison into moving faster than she's ready for, sexually, so she lies and waits for Addison to move again.
Addison does move again, and this time, she takes her own top off, and throws it into the laundry basket, along with her bra too (with perfect aim, of course).
And then she motions for Meredith to help her with her pants, which Meredith unbuttons, and helps her slide past her amazingly long legs before she attempts to throw them into the laundry basket as well, but instead they just end up on the floor.

"Okay," Addison whispers.

Addison nods at her.

"What?" Meredith bats her eyelashes outrageously at the redhead for effect.

"Absolutely," says Meredith, as she dives in with her tongue this time.
Meredith licks long and broadly on Addison, and Addison moans obscenely.
"Ohhh-" says Addison, as she closes her eyes, and lies back against the bed.
"Feels good?" says Meredith.
"More, keep going. Don't stop-" says Addison, as Meredith moves her lips over Addison's core, and then moves upwards to suck on Addison's clit.
"Right there, right there-" Addison pants, as she grips the sheets beneath her, and fastens her legs around Meredith's head.

"Well, hopefully, part of it's you, so you keep living and breathing," says Meredith.
"Of course," Addison laughs. "I want to keep breathing for a long time so I can experience that with you," says Addison.
"Oh you haven't seen anything yet," Meredith teases.
"Then I can't wait," says Addison.
"Are you ready for bed?" says Meredith.
"No," says Addison. "I probably need a shower, and you might need a shower, I mean, you're like, covered in well… Me… says Addison sheepishly.
"Probably a good idea," says Meredith. "But you are just so cozy," says Meredith.
"You too," says Addison.
"Just a minute longer," says Meredith.
"Alright," says Addison. "Just another minute longer."
