Summary
They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but for a sapling to flourish and reach the sunlight, it must escape the tree's shadow. The larger the tree's canopy, the harder it is for the apple to take root and reach the sky. However, people are more adaptable than saplings; for them, the spots of light through the leaves may be just enough.
Childe, son of this generation's most popular actor, and Lumine, daughter of that very actor's personal agent, have each other's friendship thrust upon them by their parents. For better or worse, they stand on the common ground under their parents' shadows.
