Work Text:
Kris was a bit bored today. So instead of doing anything, they decided to text Noelle
.
"Hey Noelle do you wanna do anything today, its w eekend" they typed.
A few seconds later they noticed something. It wasn't supposed to be 10:15, it was 3:00 PM when they had texted! What was wrong with their phone? Deciding to rectify the mistake, they added, "hey what the fuck why is this sending from yesterday". Clearly, something was very wrong.
And oh, it was. It was all so wrong. Kris spent the next several minutes sending frantic texts to Noelle before finally giving up and accepting their fate.

Noelle was checking her phone and reminiscing on past messages. She missed Kris. She didn't know where they went. She just wanted to remember. She didn't want to forget them. While scrolling through old messages, they found something... unusual. Were these? No- "Kris" She texted them. Maybe she could still find them.
Noelle didn't get a reply. Odd, they replied so quickly before. She tries again, typing in, "Kris? Are you okay? Please reply, we've been worried sick and berdly won't stop fussing over what couldve happened"
After a few minutes, she tried again. "Kris..."
One reply. It was quick. Noelle should've been immediately suspicious, but she was too happy at a chance to finally see her friend again. She checked the message. It was an image. Noelle, with dawning horror, soon realized that she would never see them again. She stared at the image, too focused on it to notice Berdly and Susie walking up to her with concern on their faces.
