“You both want to have a sleep over?” you asked as you turned to Sun who was watching you with hope filled eyes, well that wasn't fair.
“We promise that it will be so much fun!” he took your hands and smiled “we can stay up playing games then when it's time for bed Moon can help you “ his voice was filled with excitement while his eyes begged you to say yes.
Sighing you shake your head “Sun you know that I can't sleep over if I'm not on duty” you gave his hand a squeeze and smiled up at him “you will just have to wait till tomorrow to see me”.
The sight of Suns frown was heart wrenching, you didn't want to make him said; but you could get into lots of trouble if you got caught.
“We will miss you though” his eyes lowered to the floor, you frown and wrap your arms around him “I will miss you too, but we will get in trouble” Sun wrapped his arms around you and held you tight. You nuzzled your cheek against him and sighed softly soaking in the comforting feeling of his arms around you.
“Okay Sunshine” He said letting you go after a long while and smiled “we will see you tomorrow” he said as he opened the door for you.
“Thank you Sunny” you said and gave him a soft smile “I will see you tomorrow” you waved before heading for the main entrance.
Adjusting your bag on your shoulder you smiled after having the best work day you've had in a long time, you just hoped that there were more to come in the near future.
“Freddy Fazbears Mega Pizzaplex is now closed, initiating night time protocol”
Your eyes widened as you watched the shutters on the door start to close up ahead of you.
“No, no, no” you made a break for the doors, you slid to a stop in front of the now fully closed shutters, “Dammit!” you banged your hand on the gate and groaned.
Looks like you were spending another night in the Pizzaplex, just like Sun wanted.
You needed to check in with the night guard to explain that you must have lost track of time, trudging back to the main security office you looked around for the night guard.
There was no sign of them.
“Must be on their patrol” you muttered to yourself and sighed, you will have to find them later.
Heading back to the daycare you raised a brow “why are the lights still on?” you wondered as you opened the door.
Sunny was standing by there door where you had left him “Sunny? what are you doing?” you asked dropping your bag, he looked at you with a big smile “I was just so exited to see you again I wanted to wait for you at the door” he explained as he picked you up under your arms lifting you up above him.
“Hello again Sunshine!” he beamed at you.
You gaped at him in disbelief, not even ten minutes ago he was super sad that you were leaving for a long time, but he was going to wait for you by the door the whole night?
You gasped lightly when you realized what was going on, “Sunny did you plan on me missing the shutters?” you asked crossing your arms.
His eyes turned away from you as he placed you back on the floor “N-no, I would never...” he stammered as he tapped his two pointer fingers together nervously.
Tsking at him you closed your eyes “Sun do you know what this means?” you asked in a very serious tone, he jumped slightly hearing your tone “w-what?” he asked.
You peaked at him from one eye as a mischievous grin.
“You Sunny are..” you trailed off for suspense.
“What? Oh Sunshine please don't say it” he begged as he dropped to his knees in front of you and clutched his hands together as he continued to plead to you not to finish.
“Rule breaker”
Sun gasped covering his mouth.
Dropping your arms you looked at him “You Mr Sun, Are. A. Rule. Breaker.” you poked the tip of his nose and as you continued to grin.
Sun looked as distressed as you thought he would if you told him his dog had run away.
“It's okay Sunny”
You placed your hand one the side of his face and smiled “now we are both rule breakers” you put your finger to your lips making a shushing sound “it will be our little secret”
He looked at you “A secret?” he said as he stood “y-you mean your not mad at me?” he asked.
Shaking your head you shrugged “I'm not mad, maybe a little annoyed that you tricked me; but I'm not mad”.
Sun smiled and hugged you tightly lifting you from the floor “Okay Sunshine, I promise not to play tricks on you anymore” he said happily, laughing you patted his back “okay, okay Sun, put me down please so we can get this sleep over started”.
Putting you down Sun bounced as he took your hand and lead you off.
“This will be so much fun!”
Sun brought you to the play area and quickly got a bunch of things to make you comfortable, You smiled as you took the juice box he offered you. Sipping the juice you glanced up at him “so what should we do now?” you asked.
Sun thought for a moment “I've never had a sleep over before” he pointed out and rubbed his chin “Oh how about a movie!” he suggested. “Hmm that could be good” you said and thought for a moment “hmm but all the movies here are for really little kids, at least all the ones I've seen you play for them” Sun nodded “do you not like those movies?” he asked, you made a face “it's not that I don't like them, I'm just a little to old for those types of movies” you explained.
“I can show you all that we have” he said taking your hand leading you to a small touch screen on the wall, he clicked a button and a list of movies came up.
Looking thought the movies you rubbed your chin as she browsed through the selection and noticed that there were some that you remembered from when you were a kid and smiled.
“Looks like there are a few in here that I do actually like” you said pointing to one of your old favourites.
Sun smiled “Oh then let's watch that one!” he said looking closely at the title before smiling “okay I have it set up in the queue” he looked to you and pointed to the play structure “there is the best place to watch” he said.
You nodded “Okay” you said as you headed over, glancing over you say the projector lower from the ceiling, you climbed up to the top and found a good spot when Sun climbed up holding a blanket and smiled.
He sat down and crossed his legs and patted his lap “come sit here Sunshine”, smiling you carefully climbed into his lap and got comfortable with your back resting against his chest, Sun covered you with the blankets and wrapped his arms around you snuggling you close to him.
“Okay movie time” he said as he sent the signal to start.
You forgot how nice it was to just relax and watch an old move, and with Sun holding like he was it was nice to know that someone could care about you so much.
Smiling you rested your head back on Sun as you got more invested in the movie.
Once the movie was over Sun helped you down from the play structure “that was so much fun Sunshine!” he beamed happily his rays spinning “I never watched that movie before, I'm happy I got to share it with you”.
“I'm happy you liked it Sunny” you said as you folded the blanket you and tossed out the empty juice box you had been holding.
“What should we do now?” he asked.
Before you had a chance to open your mouth; your stomach growled loudly. Heat rushed to your cheeks as you blushed from embarrassment.
“Oh my, I was so happy earlier that I had completely forgotten that you need to eat” he said his smile dropping.
You forced a small laugh “it's okay Sunny, I just need to grab something from the kitchen” you looked over and smiled “would you like to come with me?”
Sun glanced over to the door “oh I would love to Sunshine, but if I leave the daycare right now-”, giving yourself a small smack on the forehead you nodded “right, sorry Sunny” you said looking up at him “I forgot that the lights outside the daycare are all basically off”.
He waved his hands and quickly checked your forehead for an injury “I don't mind, besides I know that I have been hogging you for most of the day” he gave a little nervous laugh.
“Moon is saying that it's his turn to spend time with you” walking over to your desk and grabbing your flashlight.
Handing it over to you he smiled as he rested his hand over the slight switch “Have a good night Sunshine, I will see you in the morning” with his good bye he turned the lights off.
Turning on your flashlight you blinked trying to adjust to the darkness, turning the light over to where Sun was you raised a brow when you found no one standing there.
“Moon?”
You heard heard the clicking of the hoist above you, quickly turning your light up you found Moon hanging above you with large grin on you lips.
“Hello Starlight” he said with his playful giggle, you smiled up at him “Hi Moon” you watched as he returned to the ground “you need to eat now” he said walking past you to the door opening it for you.
“Thank you” you said walking past him, he fallowed quickly walking beside you.
Moon didn't say anything as you walked through the quiet Pizzaplex, he helped you past the security bots since you weren't on duty.
“Hey Moon?”
He glanced down at you “yes Starlight?” you smiled at him “thank you for helping me last night, you really are a life saver” you said, he watched you before nodding slightly “I couldn't just let him hurt you, I could never forgive myself” he said softly.
Shaking your head you stopped walking to look up at him “no that's not what I meant, I mean yes thank you for actually saving my life” you babbled while gesturing with your hands “but I meant thank you for helping me sleep”.
Moon stared at you for a moment before smiling softly “it was my pleasure” he said taking your hand leading you off with out saying another word.
Entering the atrium Moon lead you up towards El Chips, glancing around you relaxed the tight grip you had on Moons hand when you couldn't see Monty anywhere.
Maintenance must have run their scan on him and fixed the problem with his coding.
Once you both made it up the stairs you both froze in your tracks.
“What the..” you felt your blood run cold, laying on the floor was the night guard.
Your shock quickly passed as you rushed over “oh my god! Are you okay?” turning them over your gasped seeing Vanessa's face with blood covering her uniform.
“Oh fuck..shit!” you felt for a pulse with shaking hands, it was weak but she was still alive, Looking at moon you tried to pick her up “W-we need to get her to the first-aid centre” you said as you struggled to pick her up from the floor.
Moon's hands slipped past you picking Vanessa up with ease “it's going to be okay Starlight” he said looking around them scanning for any danger “you need to go back to the daycare” he ordered as he headed back down the stairs.
“Wait Moon!” you went after him “They said they were going to fix Monty” you said as your heart pounded hard against your chest, you felt like throwing up.
“They lied” he said simply as he continued walking.
You glanced at Vanessa and frowned “How could they just ignore something this important?” you asked as your mind started to race.
What if you hadn't gotten locked in? Would Vanessa die? Where was Monty now? Had this all happened while you were spending time with Sun?
So many questions raced through your head making you dizzy, it started to become difficult to breath and you panted lightly while holding your chest.
Moon stopped turning to you with a frown “Starlight” he knelt down on one knee so he was more eye level with you, “I know you are scared right now, but you need to try and calm down” he stated calmly. His eyes scanned over you slowly “you are having a panic attack” you looked at him.
“Moon, I'm kinda freaking out” you admitted as he continued to pant for air.
“Deep breaths, breath in” he guided you through a simple breathing exercise, taking a deep breath you held it when Moon told you and slowly blew out your breath when he said to let it out.
After several moments to deep breathing you finally got your thoughts and breathing back under control.
“Thanks”
Nodding Moon stood again “come on we need to hurry” he said standing again, “Right” you both rushed off to the first aid centre where Moon got to work wrapping bandages and gauze over her wounds.
Once Moon was done he washed to blood from his hands and looked to you “I did what I could, but I am only programmed for basic first-aid” You nodded and pulled out your phone “I will call for an ambulance”.
Your brows knit together in frustration “damn, my phone must have died when I was watching a movie with Sun” shoving it back into your pocket you ran your hand over our hair.
“We can use the phone down in the security room”
Moon nodded glancing over to Vanessa “She should be safe here” he said before going to you “lets go”.
You reentered the atrium “This is messed up” you muttered, You bumped into Moons back when he stopped walking “Moon?”.
You heard an all too familiar sound of Monty growling and felt your skin crawl “oh no” you whispered peeking out from behind Moon.
Monty stood in the middle of the atrium looking at the two of you with a sneer.
“Monty you need to go to your room” Moon ordered the light from his eyes turning from a soft yellow glow to bright red, as his security programming kicked on.
Monty said nothing only hissing in warning at Moon who stood his ground against the threat in front of him.
You didn't even get the chance to move before Monty charged at the two of you “Give'em here!” He ordered.
Moon quickly launched himself forward colliding with Monty, Moon wrapped his arms around Monty holding him back.
“Run!” he yelled as he fought to hold the stronger animatronic back.
“But-”
Moon glanced over at you with his red eyes “No! Just go!” he ordered firmly, Frowning you forced your legs to move as you ran for the doors.
“Oh no 'ya don't!” Monty grabbed Moon by the arm prying him off, he punched Moons face hard before tossing him aside.
Skidding to a stop you dove out of the way form Montys claws as he swung them at you cutting you off from the exit.
“Shit!” you cursed as you scrambled to your feet backtracking to get away from Monty, glancing over to the stage you suddenly got an idea.
You ran for the stage hitting the button for the elevator “Come on” the stage started to lower and slowly, dammit, it was to slow.
A large hand grabbed you by the wrist pulling you back hard, you tripped back over your feet falling back, your arm twisted up painfully as Monty held you in a death grip dragging you back off the stage as it continued to lower.
Lifting you by your wrist you felt the stage floor disappear from under your feet into the darkness, “L-Let me go!” you struggled and kicked at him only for his grip to tighten painfully pressing on your wrist.
Tears filled your eyes as pain shot up your arm, he jerked you up so you were eye level with him, the moment her jerked your arm you felt a painful pop in your shoulder.
Your eyes widened as your cried out in pain.
Montys gripped on you was tight as Moon jumped onto his back pulling at his arm trying to free you.
The moment Montys grasp on you loosened your eyes widened as a loud gasp escaped your lips, you plunged down into the darkness landing hard on the stage.
“..fuck..” you groaned rolling onto your stomach, pushing yourself up on one shaking arm; luckily you didn't think your legs or ankles were broken.
Most likely bruised as hell though.
Moon called out for you, glancing up you could barely see Montys arm being pulled away from the ledge.
Wincing you tried to move your other arm and pain burned through your shoulder and arm, Standing you held your arm “god dammit...” you panted as the elevator finally came to a stop.
Limping your way out you glanced around the entrance to parts and services, you should be safe there for the time being, Monty couldn't call the elevator back to him and a fall from that height would mangle his legs.
Limping over to the chair that was next to the computer you sat down with a groan “those bastards” your eyes scanned over the room landing on the cylinder in the centre of the room. That must have been where they repaired the animatronics, you remembered when you were first hired, Vanessa had mentioned that they needed to us safety glass to contain them while they remotely worked on them.
You thought for a moment, was it the same type of glass that they used on Montys room?
Time passed and you were starting to get worried, you couldn't hear anything from above the elevator, was Moon okay?
Did he manage to subdue Monty?
There was a clatter from the utility tunnels, standing you grit your teeth in pain; you wished that Moon was going to be the one emerging from the tunnel.
Problem was you weren't that lucky.
Glancing over at the cylinder you quickly pushed the button to lower it, moving as fast as your battered body could go you found a pile of old spare parts that was piled in the corner.
“knock knock”
Spinning around you saw Monty, clutching the pipe you had found tightly in your good hand you slowly began backing up against the wall.
Your gaze flickered down to what was gripped firmly in his hands, your head spun from the sudden rush of fear that washed over you.
...Moons arm...
“What did you do” you demanded trying your best to keep the shaking out of your voice; but failing miserably.
He chuckled “Ol' Moony was getting in my way” he said tossing the arm towards you, it clattered to the ground a few feet from you.
Your stomach twisted painfully, keeping your eyes locked on Monty you slowly slid your way down the wall.
“Ain't no where you can run” he mocked as he stalked closer, his claws flexing, his grin wide flashing his sharp teeth.
“you're probably right” you said inching ever closer to your destination, you held his gaze and glared at him “but your crazy to think I would just lay down and let you kill me” you only had one shot, so you had to make it count.
You had to strike first.
Pushing yourself off the wall you ran for the cylinder, Monty lunged at you swinging his claws at your head, ducking you clenched your jaw as you swung the pipe up at hard as you could.
A loud crack rang though the room as the pipe connected with Montys jaw, several of his teeth were knocked out as he staggered.
He growled in anger as he glared at you “I'm going to rip you to shreds” he hissed coming at you again, you tried to dodge out of the way, though Monty was faster.
Grabbing your injured arm he yanked up back away from the edge of the cylinder “got you!” he growled. Crying out in pain you tried to swing at his head again, His teeth caught the pipe crushing it slightly under the sheer force of his jaw strength.
“You got in one shot but I won't fall for that again” he said ripping the pipe from your hands tossing it across the room.
“Any last words?” he sneered bringing his face nose to nose with you.
You struggled against him your eyes wide as a large for emerged behind him in the shadows.
“How about 'Good Night'”
“What!?” Monty didn't get the chance to move as Moon swung the discarded pipe, it connected with Montys head sending the both of you toppling into the Cylinder.
Scrambling to get away from Monty you kicked at him to get him off of you, Moon took your good arm pulling you away, Monty groaned as he started to get up a large dent on the side of his head.
“You'll pay for that”
Pulling away from Moon you slammed your hand down on the button, the cylinder sealed shut before Monty could make his move. Panting you slumped to the floor in front of Monty as he slammed his hand against the glass.
It didn't budge, thank god..
“Are you alright Starlight?” Moon knelt next to you giving you a better look at him, you frowned seeing the after math of his fight with Monty.
His arm had been torn off and there were large gashes in his face plate, “Oh Moon what did he do to you?”, reaching up he touched the gashes in his face and smiled softly “I'll be okay” he said as he eyes faded from red to yellow again.
He scanned you and frowned “Starlight, your shoulder” he reached over and touched it lightly making you wince.
“I think he dislocated it back in the atrium” you said and sighed glancing over to the glass where Monty continued to throw a fit pounding his fists against the glass, You sighed tiredly looking up at Moon “Can we get out of here?”
He nodded helping you up “Sorry I can't carry you” shaking your head you laughed dryly “you know how about I give you a hand this time”, reaching down you picked up his discarded arm and smiled at you terrible joke.
Moon laughed and helped you back to the elevator “Thank you Starlight” he said pushing the button and looked at you.
“You were very brave”
You smiled weakly at him “Thanks, but I never want to do something like that again”
Moon nodded “Agreed”.
“What happened to your arm?”
Glancing down at the small crowd of children swarming around you, you smile and touched the sling holding your arm up against your chest “I got into a big fight with a monster” you told them.
A few of them gasped and looked from you over too Sun who was still missing an arm “just like Mr Sun!”, fallowing their gaze you saw Sun picking up some blocks with just one arm still.
His face plate was repaired quickly so that he wouldn't scare the kids and so he would get back to work as soon as possible.
Monty had mangled the joint that connected his arm and shoulder and that would take some more time to replace.
You had called for help once Moon and you had returned to the main floor, Vanessa had to be rushed off to the hospital and was in critical condition for a while. The owners of Fazbears Pizza didn't want to deal with a long drawn out lawsuit and chose to pay you both off with a large sum of money and for all medical bills.
You know that taking the money in exchange for your silence was wrong, but you couldn't afford to sue them even if you wanted to; so you figured that you could at lest use the money to get yourself set up for a more comfortable life.
As for Monty, they found him in parts and services; he had lost power at some point making it easier for the staff to run their diagnostics oh him. Turns out Moon had been right, there was a large chunk of his programming that had been corrupted during his last update.
You haven't seen Monty since then, but you heard from the Staff that he didn't have any memory off the attacks, when they told him what he had done he was mortified telling them that it was against his programming to harm anyone.
Apparently Monty had shut himself away in his room for a while before finally returning to the stage with the other Glamrocks, you felt kinda sorry for him. It wasn't his fault for what happened, if the higher up had only listened to you sooner then this all could have been avoided.
Hopefully they had learned a thing or two about listening to their staff.
The kids all left you after asking you all the questions they could think of about the scary monster that attacked you and Moon.
Sitting down in your chair you smiled as you ran your hand over the desk, it felt good to be back at work after a week off for your medical recovery. Your shoulder was still in a sling but at lest you weren't in horrible pain anymore.
“Hello Sunshine” Sun said happily as he stood over your desk, turning your head up you smiled at him “Hey Sunny” you said waving at him with your good arm.
He smiled and waved back mimicking you “I'm so happy to see you again” he said crouching down to be eye level with you “I..We missed you” he said correcting himself.
“I missed you too” you said glancing at his damaged shoulder “I heard your new arm is going to be here in a next few days”
Reaching up he held the area where is missing arm should be connected “Yes then I will be back at peek performance” he said proudly.
Chuckling you smiled at him “that's right, and guess what” he tilted his head as his rays slowly moved around his face plate “what is it Sunshine?”
Grinning you gestured to yourself “guess who got permission to have sleep overs at lest once a week” you told him.
Gasping Sun touched his cheek and looked at you with pure joy in his eyes “you mean it!?” he asked excitedly.
“You bet” you laughed as Sun stood and started bouncing around you “this is the best news ever!” he cheered and hugged you happily.
You smiled as you hugged him bag as best as you could.
“I think you're right Sunny” looking up at him you smiled warmly as you took his hand giving it a squeeze.
“I can't wait to spend more time with the two most important and precious beings in my life”.
