Under the neon lights of Night City, with the smog in the air and the noise of traffic and bars and blaring ads all around, I don't do guys sounded pathetically provincial. It sounded like the kind of thing Robert Linder, some douchebag nobody from the sticks, had cared about. It didn't sound like the kind of thing Johnny Silverhand wanted to care about, not in a place like Night City. Not when some swaggering pretty boy was offering to suck him off in an alley behind a club.
