Work Text:
Logan likes labels, labels are good, they create a sense of order and structure in this chaotic mess of a world.
His was always called smart, that was his label, nothing more and nothing less, just smart. He wasn’t confident, edgy, rebellious, and self-assured like Virgil was labeled. He wasn’t sweet, kind, strong and caring like Patton. He want creative, courageous, ambitious and inspiring as Roman. He was smart, that’s it.
To be smart is to be intelligent, contain knowledge and to have a basis of understanding for things. Logan is smart, so he needs to reflect that, polo shirts and ties show his aptitude for intelligence.
Logan is smart.
Until, he is called cool, by Patton, by Roman, by Thomas. Cool isn’t smart, cool expresses calmness and composure. Logan can’t be cool, Logan is smart, that’s it. Nothing more and nothing less just smart.
