Summary
Drunk on champagne after his devastating loss at the Grand Prix Final in Sochi, Yuuri told Yuri that they should be friends. Months later, while he's studying for finals, Yuri shows up in Detroit really needing a friend and ready to take him up on that offer. The thing is... no one knows Yuri isn't in Russia.
Well, if anyone was prepared to deal with a situation like that, Yuuri and Phichit probably were. After all, it wasn’t like the first time this had happened.

This is set after Soichi
Yuri's grandfather dies and he goes to America to be with friends because Yuuri posted something meaningful on his Instagram, and Yuuri said they were friends after he lost the dance battle at the banquet
Or, Yuuri didn't remember the banquet at all but if course legs Yuri in..once he finishes exams he takes Yura to Japan too
Meanwhile Victor is in America looking for Yuri and decided to wait for the Yuri's to return from Japan. So Pichet and Vicor are currently hanging out in America
