It was cold.
Very cold.
Golden light shined over a small village as the sun set over the mountain, leaving behind an array of colors over the houses. Monsters walking around talking, human children playing with the monster children and everyone smiling. It was a sight to behold, a view that Frisk would be proud to see.
These thoughts were clouding my mind as I hiked up Eboot Mountain. Soon I reached a large cave, a cave that once was keeping all monsters trapped. It was funny really, being out now and going back in again. Sometimes I think about those days trapped inside and how I wished I could turn back time. I didn't care that I was trapped, that I couldn't see the sun or feel the wind, because then she-.
I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts by the sight of it. A bed of flowers. Beautiful golden flowers covering a large portion of the floor. I hadn't even realized I was walking until I saw it.
Sitting down I gently lay my body on the flowers, tears already swelling in my eyes. Shiny clear pearls fall down my face as words try to escape my throat, "Hi, sweetheart. It's been a while since I visited. Everyone misses you. I miss you. I really miss you so much..." I say, sitting in front of a grave. A grave that reads the name, "Frisk."
"You know it's just not the same without you. Asriel has really reconnected with his parents, but I know he still cries at night. He's blaming himself for your death and I try to tell him that it was your choice but I know he still feels guilty. I have some good news though, Undyne and Alphys finally got together. Undyne is still Asgore's part of the Royal Gaurd but they're more like body Guards. Alphys is trying to atone for their mistakes, they've been taking good care of the amalgamates. Mettaton has started his own show and it's been going pretty well. Toriel has also started getting better, she doesn't have as many breakdowns or visions. She still has them from time to time, but they have gotten better. Papyrus is also getting better, sometimes he has his outbursts, but he's started taking anger managment classes and has started seeing a therapist. I've also been seeing a therapist as well. I haven't been the same since you've left, but I'm trying . It's hard sometimes, but I promised I would try. We're all trying for you. It's not the same since you've left us but your kindness, your mercy has made us better." My voice cracked at those last words. I know I would try but being here, doing this is just so hard. But I promised, so that's what I'll do, I'll be Determined.
"Welp, I think that's enough crying for now sweetheart, hehe, gotta save some tears for when I visit again." I stand to leave wiping away the tears from my face.
As I start to walk towards the exit I hear a faint voice from behind me, "I love you..."
