Summary
The Infection is now gone, and Quirrel is alive to know it. And yet he can't seem to get out of bed. The loss of his dear Knight is still too fresh in his memory, and it hurts.
Luckily, the princess (and NOT the queen) of Deepnest is there to get him out and on his feet again. A great journey awaits the two, as they travel through the whole kingdom to find out how people are fairing in a world that's only just getting back on it's feet.
Dictionary:
"Cycle/wind cycle" - a day and a night
"Windrise" - bug night/when the winds are stronger
"Windfall" - bug day/when the winds are calmer
The rest is self-explanatory.(Author's note: Hello!!! This is the longest fic I've ever written so far, it's twice the length of my second longest, which I didn't finish. This is a pretty huge deal for me! Just wanted to point that out. I'm proud. Bye.)

Summary
Stan didn't mean to make someone mad enough for them to kidnap him but here he was, escaping in a dense jungle somewhere in Columbia. Luckily, they were dumb enough to be near some train that happened to be running through, hoping on the back and laughing as he escaped. A few moments of breathing and then a quick walk through the train lead him to remember the gunshot wounds those yahoos left him as parting gifts, nothing this random bag of pills can't help with.
How did he end up in some log cabin before he could take them? Why is it so damn cold now? Why is there some man yelling at him before he could understand where he is? Where is he and what just happened?

My own take on Stan’s and Ford’s reunion in ‘A Tale of Two Stans,’ along with Bill Cipher’s betrayal and possession of Ford. And how it could have gone differently. Inspired by Gravity Falls, my own brain, and other fanfics, especially parts of ‘by the skin of your teeth’ by apathetic_revenant. (great read, you should check it out)
Warnings: Some blood, injuries, panicking, mentions of past torture / bad times, and Bill Cipher being... Bill Cipher. Kinda dark with a hopeful ending :)
