After Monomon's call is answered and Hallownest falls into peaceful quiet, Quirrel decides it's time to let go and makes a decision at the Blue Lake-- Where he is ambushed by a group of unfamiliar bugs draped in white and used to lure a certain half-Weaver into a trap. Now, Hornet has been whisked away to Wyrm-knows where, Quirrel is left with nothing but a bell and a cranky Relic Seeker to guide him, and a new type of horrific infection is sprouting up at an alarming rate... Maybe he still has some adventuring left in him, after all. (Or Quirrel and Lemm become unexpected best friends while Hornet beats up silk-possessed bugs in a cogwork wonderland.)

One young mantis, unlike the rest of his kin, chafes against the path set for him by his family and elders and he doesn’t see a way out that’s worth it.

A lone bee returns to hallownest right before the knight defeats the absolute radiance in godhome. Of course, the bee does not know this, his body weak from his travels across the wastes, and his minds sapience barely having returned to him. His memories are all but gone, and yet, he remembers this place, feeling a calling from his queen's essence. He finds exactly what you'd expect in the hive, but something else too.
Elsewhere, a red maiden returns from a land of silk and song after a treacherous adventure, only to find a homeland both in better shape than she ever expected, but still in mortal danger. Can she bring both kingdoms closer together? How will she fix her homeland?

Before a certain nameless little creature made the choice to descend into the blighted ruins of the ancient kingdom of Hallownest, there had been quite a few things that it had not known about itself.
Some of these, it had very much wanted to find out, such as: What was it? Where had it come from? Why was it here? Were there others like it?
One thing it might have preferred to remain ignorant of is that, by all accounts, it just so happens to bear a rather striking resemblance to the fallen kingdom’s late monarch.

A knight without a kingdom, bereft of duty, without her monarchs, is no knight at all.
Dryya wakes in the Queen's Gardens months after her death, confused and alone. The White Lady is gone. There are no more infected mantises polluting her Lady's realm, just a scattered collection of mutated wild animals. She has stood valiantly at her post for three centuries. Without her Queen, what is she to do?
Without purpose for the first time in almost a millennia, Dryya must forge herself a new one: she will reassemble her lost knights and do what she can to put the broken remnants of her King's realm back together. Summary
Another "Oro adopts Lost" fic, yay! Not in same universe as Stay and Be Safe, but if you like that story you'll probably like this one, too. It's a lot more antagonistic and I'd say leans more on the comedic side of things.
I don't know how to summarize this fic other than, "I wrote it when I was angry/annoyed/upset and it shows" lol. Oro sees Lost being a menace to society and asks, "is anyone going to adopt this kid?" without waiting for a reply.

She stiffened as it turned its wrist to look at her, blinking as its face came into view. She was surprised to see a pale, horned mask. Aside from the crudely-wrapped bandages covering one of its eyes, the shape of its horns and the abysmal state its cloak was in, the resemblance to the spider was quite striking.

Summary
Freeing the Hollow Knight from a mad god’s clutches is one thing; freeing them from their own self-imposed chains is entirely another. Particularly when they understand their rescue as no rescue at all, but simply another god taking those chains in hand.
Ghost did not request any of that.
Hornet, having spent the past few centuries desperately believing that all her siblings died in their eggshells, has learned the truth just in time to struggle with how to help a sibling who firmly believes that their own existence as a living thing is the most heinous of crimes.
Oro is not remotely pleased at having been pulled from his perfectly fine hut to help, and is most definitely not unusually invested here, thank you. No attachment whatsoever to someone who, despite being half-dead, still tries to make of themself a living shield. None at all.
(He’s also a bad liar.)
Friends and allies can only get you so far when someone’s greatest battle is against their own mind, and many things in this crumbling ruin of a kingdom are inclined to interfere in the matter. Not all that is dead is willing to stay dead, and the past is not content to remain in the past.

Hallownest is a breathtaking long-ruined Bug Kingdom, sprawling with ancient lore, treacherous landscapes, and dangerous foes. The very place oozes with mystery and myth.
It just so happens this magical fantastical domain is right in the backyard of some Human kid named Dewi. And through some crazy and nonsensical adventure (i.e the comic), he's come to find out about the kingdom of said bugs. With Hallownest's Ghost and Hornet, he somehow defeated the Radiance only a week ago!
Things were looking up, except for his constant sneeze and sniffy nose... but his Dad said it's tree allergies. So it's probably fine!Dewi's happy to think that...until he ends up waking up in the body of a bug and shoved splat in the middle of the Hallownest Kingdom. Unsure, scared, and very confused, Dewi sets out to find his bug friends and reverse whatever curse has been laid on him, while making some new friends in the process.
