Summary
After graduation, the embers of One for All are extinguished and now quirkless Izuku Midoriya takes a teaching position at U.A. and tries to settle into a normal life.
One bad decision turns into another. A few underground fights become investigations. Investigations become targets. Before long, Izuku is operating outside the law as a vigilante that the heroes are calling Kuro. Kuro is dismantling criminal organizations faster than the heroes can respond.
As Kuro's profile grows, a task force is assembled to identify and arrest him. The problem isn't avoiding the task force. It's avoiding Katsuki Bakugo, his childhood friend who's become one of the most important people in his life, and the hero most likely to figure out exactly who Kuro is.

Little does he know that his attempts to modify Harry's Blood Wards will result in *accidentally adopting* The Boy Who Lived. Shocked and horrified, Severus is left with no choice but to move forward as best he can. After all, there's no use crying over spilled potions. . .
This fic is set just after the Weasley siblings rescue Harry from the barred window/canned soup/cat flap situation in Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets.
