It’s painfully obvious to Nemuri that Izuku Midoriya is about as awkward and anxiety riddled as possible but she’s never backed down from a challenge before. And if this bone-breaking nervous wreck needs a little self-confidence, well then she’ll just have to build him up one brick at a time.

Summary
Now Aizawa, being a pro hero, is trained to sense disturbances in The Force. Underground heroes are a sparse business because the learning curve for lurking around amongst endless unknowns, often the dredges of society, is sink or swim, do or die. All in all, there’s very little that can fly under his radar. The few things that can send goosebumps skittering across his skin, or alarms blaring in his head, have devoutly etched themselves like a laundry list into his fight or flight instinct.
It’s as he’s debating between which brand of cheap convenience store bandaid would be most reliable in an emergency, that he feels one such instance of this cold, paralysing dread. A bullet point off of the list ricochets in his skull, and Aizawa finds himself at the sharp end of the universe’s own logical ruse.

His best friend, basically his older brother, mourned for him and cried for weeks unable to get out of bed. Eventually he figured he had to move on with his life, live the life Kacchan would have wanted him to. Two years pass and not a day goes by that Izuku doesn’t miss his little brother. Then one day everything changes when he hears screaming coming from the house next door, Kacchan’s old house. That in itself isn’t strange but the blur of ash blond fur that flies out the front door and to the woods was what caught his attention. Especially since he only knew one wolf that could possibly fit that description. Before he had time to think he was chasing after the wolf and leaving his pack behind.
