More and more often, Alhaitham offers Cyno things with less and less hesitation — thoughtful questions and honest answers, a lingering gaze and secret shreds of emotion that Cyno is still learning how to grasp, much less weave back together. Cyno's arms are laden with more pieces of Alhaitham than he knows how to hold, but never once did he consider leaving the next one to tumble to the ground.
