As Clarke sat down at the dining hall with her friends as they ate. Guards came in with the Shepherd in front of them with Bellamy following behind. She hasn't eaten since they arrived unable to stomach anything. Her friends looked up at the shepherd tense waiting for something to happen. She could feel the Shepherd's eyes on her but she was too tired to look up at him.
“Clarke I am fed up with your group I have been very lenient with you especially after one of your own murder my first disciple and this isn’t mentioning how many of my people are already dead” he gritted out angrily
Octavia stared at Levitt confused as he looked down at the ground. Confused, Octavia looked at Diyoza who looked just as confused as her.
“Clarke Griffin I wish this didn’t have to happen but you continue to not listen to our rules and your people keep murdering ours” He continued on getting more angry as Clarke didn’t answer
At that point everyone became more worried as he yammered on but Clarke couldn’t care knowing he was gonna kill her. “You really are a coward Bellamy” Clarke said
Bellamy looked down ashamed, but everyone looked at her confused. Clarke stood up not looking at the shepherd. She pulled Octavia over the table “Protect Madi and Gaia, Don’t fight” Clarke whispered in her ear
Clarke hugged her so the Shepherd wouldn’t get suspicious. “Get her” She heard the shepherd say.
Two guards rushed her slamming her on to the table “Clarke” she heard Echo yell
“What the hell she wasn’t resisting” Octavia yelled
As the guards put her in cuffs she stared at her friends “Where the hell are you taking her” Miller yelled at Bellamy.
Bellamy looked away unable to answer. “Clarke is to be executed in 5 days unless she gives up where the flame is” he said sadly
She could see their need to fight it out “Don’t fight guys everything will be okay”
Niylah looked at her with tears in her eyes begging for Clarke just to tell them. Octavia and Diyoza looked at her with an understanding but she could see the sadness in their eyes. “In the eyes of the sinner may the innocent be set to fire” She mumbled in Latin
“YOU” he gritted out angrily, she could see the understanding in his eyes at the reminder of Becca.
“How does it feel to know your daughter will forever hate since you set fire to her lover Becca Franko or Pramheda” she said snarky
She could feel his hand hit her face as he glared at her angrily. A burning pain came across her cheek. She grinned at him as he tried to control his anger. She saw the surprise on the guard's face as he lashed out at her. She looked at everyone and she could see their anger as they saw him hit her.
“You hit like a child” She antagonized him
“Take her to gray room” he looked at her friends “In an hour escort to viewing room”
Before he left he turned to her “You will tell us where the Key is and you will pay for your words”
He stormed out of the room but the guards stood there in surprise. They dropped her arms as they rushed out the room. Levitt was unable to look at anyone “Levitt what's the gray room” Octavia asked touching his arm
Gabriel rushed forward to look at the injury on Clarkes face. “It was only used once and it was used on a disciple who killed another in their sleep. He killed himself a day after being in the room” Levitt mumbled
“Levitt what is it”
“Octavia it’s a torture room”
She could see the others get upset at the mention of it. “Oh okay so” She said
“ seriously, Clarke their going to torture you” Raven whisper yelled
“I was practically burned alive in Praimfaya Raven”
Levitt looked at her “You should just give them the flame” he pleaded
“I can’t Levitt”
Miller came over to undo the cuffs “Miller it's okay leave them on we don’t need to piss them off anymore”
“I don’t get why they going after you, you didn’t kill any of their people” Hope said
“I won’t give him what he wants and he wants to make an example out of me. Also, if he kills all of us the whole let's save all of mankind kind of gets contradicted”
Clarke wasn’t scared of death she wasn’t afraid of torture. But she couldn't let that man get near her daughter. The doors opened and the guards came in shaken up. But they grabbed her arms, dragging her off to the gray room. They brought her down a dimly lit hallway and they sat her down in the wooden chair in the middle of the room and strapped her arms and legs down to the arms and legs of the chair.
They left the room hastily and an hour later an older gentleman and a young woman came in. “We were told to let you know your friends can see you behind that mirror in front of us. And the shepherd is watching from the camera”
“Also, they can hear everything that is happening.” the younger woman said
The man walked around her in the gray room. She felt him grab her by the back of the hair and he yanked her head back. She felt something cool get placed against her throat. She grunted at the movement “Before we get started would any of you like to tell us where the Key is?” She heard the girl squeak in fear. Clarke felt the knife dig into her throat. With no response he backed away from Clarke.
He went over to the wall and he grabbed a small knife “You know it's been so long since I was able to do this. Last guy didn’t last long” He grinned at her sadistically.
He slammed the blade of the knife into her thigh. She gritted her teeth together. “I see your not gonna scream don’t worry eventually you will”
She could hear a bang against the glass “I’m guessing you’ll last longer than they will” he smirked sadistically
He turned around to look at the glass and he grinned at them. He removed his white jacket leaving him in his under shirt.
She saw him walk towards the wall when she saw the collar he grabbed. She could feel her hand tremble as he walked towards her with it. “Don’t worry I won’t use it yet”
He leaned forward to put it on her but as he clicked it in she bit his arm hard tearing his flesh. She spit it out on the floor as his blood trailed down her chin. He lunged back in pain with anger in his eyes. The young woman wrapped his arm in a bandage.
He walked forward with malice in his eyes as he kicked her chair back. She grunted in pain as her head landed on the floor with a thud. He straddled her waist, quickly hitting her across the face repeatedly. He eventually slowed down as his anger dissipated. He jumped off her “You hit like a old man” Clarke laughed as she spat blood on the floor
He left slamming the door shut. The young woman came to lift the chair up. “I’m sorry” the girl whispered
The girl reminded Clarke of an older version of Madi. Clarke heard banging on the glass but her head became fuzzy. As things started to become fuzzy, Clarke passed out due to the concussion she just earned.
Dining hall
They sat in the dining hall waiting impatiently as they saw Clarke get dragged off. As everyone looked at each other they knew what was waiting for them would be horrendous. Bellamy came in looking upset with the guards behind them. “They are waiting for you guys” he said
They were filed into the hall by the guards. Raven scoffed angrily as they walked towards their destination “Some friend you are Bellamy I thought we meant something to you I guess 6 years on the ring meant nothing” she hissed angrily
“Raven” he whispered sadly
Echo and the others didn’t even look at him. Disappointed in what he became and the fact he was willing to let the Shepherd hurt Clarke. “What happened to the bellamy that was willing to kill all of my people for Clarke” Diyoza asked him
He just stared at the ground unable to answer. As they entered the room they saw a window and a couple of couches facing the window. The guards left the room and Bellamy stayed with them standing in the corner of the room. They went to sit on the couches, when they looked out the window they saw Clarke. “What the hell bellamy” Miller yelled
“The Shepherd wants you to see the consequences of your actions” He replied calmly
“It wasn’t us we had a plan to leave and you betrayed us” Echo sneered
Bellamy became quiet at that. As they sat down minutes later a man and a woman walked in. They could see the man talking but they couldn’t hear anything. As the man walked around Clarke, Bell went to the wall and pressed a button. And that's when they saw the man grab Clarke by the hair and force a knife to her throat. And the woman stayed in the corner of the room.
He smirked at them “Any of you want to tell us where the Key is”
He backed away from Clarke, but then they noticed he was walking towards the wall with weapons. He grabbed a smaller knife And he stabbed Clarke in the thigh. And at that Miller started banging on the glass when Diyoza forced him back. “You want the guards to come in” She gritted out as miller thrashed against her.
They heard the man laughing as he heard the banging. He backed away going to the wall again grabbing a collar. Octavia felt raven tense next to her and she saw the way Diyoza jaw clenched.
She noticed the way Bellamy's posture changed at the sight of the collar. As the man locked the collar around her neck he jumped back in pain. And that when they saw Clarke spit out a piece of flesh and blood dripped down her mouth.
“I think I’m gonna be sick ” Jordan mumbled
He kicked her chair back onto the floor and they saw him pounce on her hitting her. Octavia felt a lump in her throat as the grunt of pain Clarke let out. He eventually stopped “You hit like a old man” clarke laughed
As Clarke antagonized him he left the room angrily. The girl slowly lifted the chair up. And at the sight of her bloodied face. Raven started banging on the window “You fucking bastard” she yelled. Octavia felt the same way but she went and grabbed Raven forcing her from the window. That's when they noticed Clarke passed out. Gabriel went towards the window tapping on it “Wake her up it a concussion” he screamed
“This is your fault” Hope muttered looking at Bellamy
After an hour the man came back. With a bucket of water he tossed on Clarke.
Clarkes pov
She awoke with a gasp as cold water hit her. That's when she saw him Glaring at her. She noticed the remote in hand. “I think it's time to end this don’t you” Clarke heard the glass creak as someone banged on it.
“I don’t think they agree” he chuckled darkly
“Guards” he yelled
The guards came in confused. “Sir”
“Tie her up to chains” They unstrapped her from the chair and hosted her up.
The man moved the chair and that's when she noticed cuffs hanging from the ceiling. They forced her arms in the cuffs hanging above her head. And then cuffed her feet to the floor. As they went to leave “Her Shirt get rid of it”
The guards came and cut her shirt off with a knife and her shirt pooled around her feet. “A blank canvas I see” He grinned
He went to the wall and grabbed a Chef's knife. “Were gonna start easy”
He came up to her and grinned. He cut a 6 inch line down the sternum. She bit her lip to keep from screaming. He cut her again close to her hip. “I wonder what will it take to make you scream”
She grunted in pain. He cut her again pressing harder on the blade as he cut a line down her torso. She pulled against the chains wanting to hit him. “You see this is getting quite boring don’t you think so”
He tossed the knife on the floor. And he pulled the smaller knife out her leg. “Go float yourself” she gritted out angrily
He laughed, he pressed down on the button sending electricity through the collar. “Hrggggg motherfucker” she groaned in pain
He pressed down again, stopping the device. “I’m gonna kill you” she threatened angrily
He pressed down again laughing at her pain. She couldn’t help the scream that was ripped from her throat.
He eventually stopped the device. She couldn’t help but fall. The chains stopped her from falling on the ground.
“Ah ah ah haven’t you heard of posture Ms.Griffin '' He Punched her in the gut hard. As he walked away she saw her blood coating his hand.
She spat out blood from her mouth onto the floor. “That the best you got I’ve had worse” he glared at her as he grabbed a metal baton.
The banging on the glass still persisted and it got heavier as he got closer. “I’m going to enjoy watching as life leaves your eyes slowly, and the cry of your friends as I kill you slowly” He whispered in her ear.
He grabbed the baton smacking it against her ribs. (Crack,Crack) “ Ergggggg Go…… Float……Yourself” she cried out as she felt her ribs break
She pulled against the chains in pain. When she felt the Baton hit the back of her calf. Her knee went forward pulling against the chains on her ankles. “Jok(Fuck), Fuck you” she gritted out
“I’m gonna make you beg for the sweet release of death” he yelled loud enough for the speaker to catch. They heard the banging stop at that.
“Never, I will never beg to you or your Shepherd ” she spat out
He slapped her across the face “How dare you speak his name” He yelled out
“You act like he’s god but we both know he’s a coward who sends people he doesn’t even care for do the dirty work for him” He flung the baton on the ground
He faced the wall grabbing a thin long leather whip. “You will pay, you will beg for his mercy”
The first whip across her back hurt like a bitch. But she won’t scream, By the tenth lashing she felt her back was wet with blood. By the 15th lashing he dropped the whip to grab a thicker whip.
By the 20th lashing she could feel herself screaming but she couldn’t hear herself. By the 30th she couldn’t stay awake anymore and she blacked out unable to feel anything.
When she eventually awoke the man was gone along with the woman. She groaned in pain at the stinging pain in her back “Ahhhh” she cried out as she tried to move.
She could barely move and every movement so her head hung down. The woman entered with food and water. She went to feed Clarke the slop in the bowl. The woman sadly sighed as she saw Clarke was refusing food. “The Shepherd sent me here to make sure you eat and drink”
Clarke just glared at her “Tell your Shepherd to go float himself”
The woman looked up at the camera and then she looked at the intercom. She leaned close as if to feed Clarke “Me and Levitt have a plan to get you and your friends out of here”
Clarke eyes softened as she looked at the young woman “Tell Levitt to get the others out leave me behind”
The woman looked up at her sadly, “Are you sure?”
“They will always be in danger with me around.” Clarke rasped out
The woman left the room staring at Clarke sadly.
The woman left to enter the room Clarkes friends resided in. “Disciple Blake, Clarke is refusing to eat.” As he left grabbing the food in her hand
Levitt came in quickly as soon as he left, locking the door. “Octavia tomorrow be ready to leave me and Lindsay are getting you guys out of here.”
Levitt turned towards lindsay. “Did you get Clarke to agree?”
Lindsay turned her head “She said to leave her behind.”
“What were not leaving Clarke behind” Echo yelled out
Niylah turned to calm Echo down. “Octavia and the others would never leave her behind”
Levitt picked at his sleeve nervously “Octavia trust me when I say we want to help her escape” Levitt looked at Lindsay nervously.
“Dupre is getting angry that Clarke isn’t… Reacting…. The way he wanted”
“He’s going to kill her, the man who killed himself after a day with him, we found out it wasn’t suicide, Clarke is fighting back and the man did the same.” Levitt breathed out nervously
“When is he gonna try to kill her” Diyoza asked
“We don’t know but, but we know the minute Clarke is dead so are you guys” Lindsay answered
“Were not leaving her” Octavia said with finality in her tone
The two disciples nodded. Everyone was confused when Miller broke down laughing. “What’s so funny Miller” Raven asked
“Clarke just head butted the food onto bellamy's face” he laughed clutching his side
The others chuckled as Bellamy stomped out sadly. Levitt and Lindsay rushed out as they saw Bellamy leave.
“Beja, Okteivia Yu Beda gon we” (Please, Octavia you should go) Clarke said staring at the window sadly
Octavia rested her hand on the window “We won’t ever leave you Clarke”
She could feel a hand rest on her shoulder. “Your right were not leaving your friend Octavia” Diyoza promised
As they stared at Clarke sadly the man entered with a metal briefcase.
CLARKE
Clarke stared at the man as entered “Hello Clarke Griffin” he smiled at her weirdly
“Your probably wondering what I’m doing here with the case” He looked at her to see if she was listening
“You see I have been working on something that will cause immense pain. But, Your body will crave it like a drug once injected. But you see I don’t want you to become addicted to it so I stayed up late last night working on the formula. I want you to suffer, I want you to beg for death and well this will do that. It will eventually kill you by stopping your heart after the 3rd or 4th dose. But I don’t think you’ll get past the 1st dose”
He grabbed the gag from the wall and he grabbed the Neon green filled syringe. “You see I’m sure you don’t want your friends to suffer by hearing you scream so you know” He hit her across the face and when her mouth opened from the pain he stuffed the gag in her mouth.
He turned her head sideways exposing her neck. He stuck the needle in pushing the liquid into her neck.
After 10 minutes they all saw the effects of whatever was in the vial. They could see her pulling harshly against the chains. They saw the way her veins became exposed as her blood pressure skyrocketed.
Clarke felt like everything was on fire. She was hot and cold and it felt like needles were flooding her veins and arteries. She could feel her eyes become watery and blurry as the pain got to her.
Clarke pulled against the chains not caring as they ripped into her wrist. Her body trembled and shook in pain. She felt the wounds that scabbed reopen as she thrashed against the chains.
The girl came in angry “What the hell Dupre the Shepherd told you no when you asked to use T-17” She yelled at him with guards coming in.
“Shut up Lindsay and look at my masterpiece”
The Shepherd came in angry “Kill him now”
Dupre looked at him surprised “I did what you asked my Shepherd I made her pay”
“You disobeyed my direct order and this isn’t the first time I won’t tolerate this disobedience”
“Disciple Lindsay administer a sedative and allow her friends to help her”
She grabbed out a sedative and she injected it into Clarke's arm. Clarke's head lulled forward as the sedative worked. “Clarke '' Octavia yelled as she pushed through the guards. The guards unchained Clarke and Octavia and Echo caught her. The guards tried to grab Clarke “You touch her and you will regret it” Miller glared at them
They walked toward the bedrooms and they laid Clarke on the bed. “You and your friends will be released I am not a cruel man, But if you and anyone of your people hurt any of mine, Clarke is dead”
Echo cleaned off Clarke’s face as Niylah watched. The Shepherd and his Guards left. “Hope I’m serious no more fighting after this” Diyoza scolded
Raven worked on the collar that was on Clarke, and as she removed it she had to look away at the burn marks on her throat.
Gabriel came in with some bandages and a bunch of other medical stuff. He set the stuff down on the bed as he looked at Diyoza. “Hope and Jordan don’t need to see this, they need to go into the other room.”
“Seriously mom I’m 25 I’m not a little kid” Hope went to argue
“Little one he’s right everyone in this room have seen some form a torture. But, the healing part is just as traumatic.” Diyoza kissed her forehead and she pushed her into the other room with Jordan locking them in.
“Echo, I need your help to roll her over.” Gabriel said
Gabriel grabbed one side while Echo pushed Clarke onto her belly. “Clarke” They gasped out in horror.
Niylah stood up unlocking the other door going into the room with Jordan and Hope. Diyoza locked the door behind her.
He cleaned her back off with warm water and then he sprayed Iodine on her back. He let her back air dry before he applied an ointment on it. “What is that” Octavia asked confused
“It's a antibacterial cream it should help the wounds heal and stop an infection” he replied
He placed gauze pads on her back and he taped the gauze to her back. He motioned for echo to help him move her back over. He did the same process and cleaned the wounds out with warm water and Iodine. “Do any of you know how to do sutures” He asked
“I thought you knew how to do them Gabriel” Echo asked confused
He rolled his eyes “I will be quicker if someone helps me, and we don’t know when they’re letting us go.”
He looked at everyone but they all nodded their heads to no. Octavia stepped forward, “Clarke taught me in the dropship, in case she died” Octavia mumbled the last part, but everyone heard what she said.
“Wait why did she think she was gonna die” Gabriel asked confused
“When we landed we released flares to signal to our people so they wouldn’t murder a bunch of people to save oxygen. We didn’t know the flares burned down a village and because we burned the village down, we started a war with the people there. Clarke knew Bellamy would protect me no matter what, and I helped her take care of the sick. Well one day she came up to me and asked if I wanted to learn how to do sutures, I said yes.”
She stopped to take a breath. “After she taught me she said Octavia when I die you're the only one who will know how to suture wounds together, you will be able to help them when I no longer can. I was so angry I yelled at her and I stomped out” A tear dropped down Octavia cheek
He handed her one of the suturing kits. She started on Clarkes abdominal cuts while Gabriel started on the cut on her cheek and the one above her left eyebrow. “How many times have you guys seen Clarke almost die ” Gabriel asked
“I would say at least 3 times a month” Raven said
“Seriously” He asked incredulously
“Yeah Clarke has no self- Preservation” Miller said
They all saw Clarke almost die so many times and each time they were afraid she was gonna die.
“She’s strong and stubborn like her mother” Diyoza said
As the two finished up stitching her wounds together. Gabriel put the ointment on the stitches and he covered them with gauze and tape. As he finished up he fished a pair of scissors out of the medical bag. He cut the piece of fabric around the knife wound on her thigh. He tossed the fabric on the ground. He cleaned the wound and stitched it together and then he put ointment on it but he placed a piece of gauze on it but he wrapped the wound with a cloth bandage.
As he finished up Diyoza opened the door letting the others in.
“How is she” Jordan asked
“The wounds should heal” Gabriel replied
The Shepherd came in as Gabriel cleaned up the mess. “You guys are being released the Guards will escort you to the bridge and they brought a stretcher for Clarke”
The guards entered but Echo and Octavia placed Clarke in the stretcher and Miller and Jordan picked it up.
As he entered the stone room Levitt was there with Helmets. He gave the helmet to Raven specifically. As the other guards handed them helmets. One Guard went to place the helmet on Clarke but Echo stopped him and she put the Helmet on Clarke.
Cadogan came in, entering the code into the stone and Everyone entered with Miller,Jordan and Clarke being last.
As they came through the Anomaly they noticed they weren’t in Sanctum. “No,” Octavia whispered in horror.
As they all looked around they saw they were in the Bunker. As they looked around, someone came down with a torch. Gaia walked down the ramp and she handed Niylah the torch. “I thought you were in Sanctum with Madi” Raven stated.
“One of the soldiers pushed me through the anomaly and since I was born on earth it brought us here where I killed him” She looked toward the floor where the Helmet lay. She looked around confused
“Where’s Clarke” She asked confused not seeing her
Miller and Jordan set the stretcher down moving as Miller took off the helmet that was covering her face. Gaia sped towards Clarke falling to her knees as her hand hovered over Clarkes face.
“What-what happened it was only a couple of days,” She looked up at them angry
“The leader had her tortured because Bellamy told him that the flame was gone and Clarke wouldn’t tell them where it was. But, he also tortured her because Clarke antagonized him about his daughter Kalliope Pram flamekeeper” Octavia answered her with tears streaming down her face.
Gaia looked surprised at hearing the first flamekeeper but she was angry, no she was pissed. “Bellamy betrayed us” She gritted out angrily
“Gaia he believes in this stupid faith of the Shepherd the person who built the first dawn bunker” Octavia blurted out
“Isn’t he dead” Gaia asked confused
“Cyro, just how we got to Sanctum, Gaia we need to get to Sanctum it's only a matter of time before he sends an army to Sanctum. Our people don’t stand a chance his people can go invisible” Echo said concerned
“Our helmets aren’t finding the stone” Miller yelled out as he threw on the helmet.
“They gave us duds” Octavia groaned
“What did you expect? They sent us here on purpose” Diyoza pointed out.
“They die who ever hurt Clarke die’s, Jus drein Jus Daun,” She glared at them as she held Clarke’s hand
“Gaia” they heard a broken whisper
“Are-are you real this isn’t the drugs” Clarke stared up at Gaia with tears in her eyes.
“Ai Niron (My love) this is me, I’m here.” She kissed the back of Clarke’s hand.
Clarke nodded as she slowly feel back asleep “You forgot to mention They drugged her what was it” she gritted out
“We don’t know this guy created it to fry her nervous system” Miller said confused
“My love when did this happen,” Raven asked happy but confused
“When she, when madi was Shiedheda on the Elgius ship, I knew I couldn’t lose Clarke without telling her how I felt about her.” Raven, Niylah and Miller looked down sadly as they remembered the gun Clarke had to her head.
Octavia Lightly grabbed raven’s arm “What happened on that ship”
“Your gonna hear about eventually” Miller said as he looked at Octavia
“Sheidheda had completely taken over Madi and he told everyone to kneel or die, Clarke kneeled but, she put a gun to her head and she said if Madi didn’t fight back she was gonna pull the trigger” he shivered as he remembered
“When she got to three we all saw her go to pull the trigger but Madi ran and hugged Clarke which stopped her” Raven finished as Miller couldn’t speak.
Everyone looked at Gabriel as he leaned against the wall with a finger to his chin. “Gabriel what is it” Hope asked
“When I was wrapping up Clarkes wounds, I noticed bruising on her torso but she was beat with that metal baton which makes me believe Clarke must have some type of internal bleeding” he replied concerned
“Metal baton” Gaia gritted out angrily
“Look we can talk about this later but if she is bleeding internally she will die” He said grimly
“How can we tell is she is bleeding internally” Echo questioned him
“If she coughs or throws up blood” he stated
“Oh by the way your boyfriend Levitt gave me a helmet that actually works ” Raven pointed out
“Than find then stone” Gaia said, annoyed as she fussed over Clarke.
“No need to fuss I was getting on it” Raven stated as she put the helmet on. As she looked for the stone she saw it led to the rec room.
“It's in the rec room” Everyone ran into the rec room. “I think we would have noticed the stone I mean we lived here for 6 years” Niylah pointed out
“Underneath the piano” Raven yelled as she set the helmet on the floor and she ran into the workshop and grabbed some sledge hammers and a pickaxe. “You guys seriously couldn’t have moved the piano as I grabbed the supplies” She grumbled annoyed
She tossed the sledge hammers to Echo and Miller and she handed the Pickaxe to Gabriel.
“Move the Piano and get started” She rushed them as they stared at her
As they moved the Piano and Carpet they saw an Azgeda symbol. “Why is their and Azgeda symbol on the floor” Echo said confused
“Who cares Clarke is dying, hurry up.”
Raven grumbled as everyone stared at her. “What Gabriel said it was important we always listen to doctors”
“Shut it Raven you never listened to doctors orders” Clarke coughed out.
The others stopped hitting the concrete as everyone stared at Clarke who was looking at them. “Your awake” Gaia whispered as she looked at Clarke
“Kinda hard to be asleep with the banging” Clarke replied as she laid on the stretcher. “And what do you mean I always listened to doctors orders” Raven said acting offended
“I remember you getting getting shot and you keep trying to get up when you were told bed rest” Clarke chuckled
