Chapter Text
It actually took half an hour to calm yourself down, in the meantime you finished getting ready for the day. While walking down the stairs you decided to forget and live on with your life, no one knew what happened yesterday and tonight, plus everyone knew you hated Rick and that he didn't like you, so you're good. Still, you didn't want to see him and decided to stay away from him. And to your luck you did! for thirty minutes!! as soon as you get down you see him sitting on the couch, talking with Carol. Following your own instructions, you walk towards the front door, leaving before one of them notices you, thank god you could go out the house now. As soon as you got your hand on the doorknob Carol called you, making you stop and look at her. "Why don't you come here? everyone already left and i wanted to talk about something." She said and you stood there, thinking. Looking at her sweet face you would've already run up to her, but looking at the man sitting opposite from her made you run the other way instead. They both were looking at you, Carol had a small smile, like she really wanted you to stay and talk to her, Rick had a smirk on too but it was different than hers, and you hated it. Eventually you give up and walk towards them, taking a seat next to Carol. Rick looked at you, knowing you wouldn't say or do anything right now. He just continued the conversation acting like it was nothing between you two, and you did the same. You kept your eyes on Carol, trying not to look at the man in front of you. You nodded a few times, trying your best to listen to her but your mind focused on him, you could feel his eyes on you the entire time and you still didn't like it. After fighting yourself the entire time you let your eyes go towards him a few times, but just for a second. As you kept looking at him, your eyes locked with his for a moment and Rick made sure to give you a cheeky smile, he couldn't help it and you could see that he was amused by it too. Carol finished talking to you and you were about to make a question about something she said but Rick had other plans. He cleared his throat to get you to look at him, and now he stared back at you with his usual smirk that you hated so much. There's a moment of silence while you look at him, and you didn't say anything, waiting to hear what he has to say. He leaned back on the couch, you could see he was trying his best to not smile even more. You didn't like it, what was he going to do.. His smile faded and he tried to keep a serious expression. "How did you sleep?" he asked, hiding his amusement with a serious expression, acting like he wasn't there to know it. You took a deep breath, resisting the urge to get up and punch him. You gave Carol a quick look, but she was looking at him confused, so you looked back at him. "oh awful." You answered him, using a sarcastic tone to play his same game. He knew very well how pissed off you were, and he was definitely enjoying it. "Really? That's a shame..." Rick replied, fake-pouting, hiding his smirk. You glared at him, and he smirked, you were going to snap but fortunately Carol spoke. "You know what, we can go out now and it's a really sunny day.." She said while getting up her seat. "Im going to take a walk. anybody want to come?" You were going to accept, of course. "Ye-." "No thank you for the offer Carol" Rick cut you off, his tone friendly and he looked so kind. Before now you never actually payed attention to him speaking to the others, and you just realized how different he is with them. Carol gave a quick look before walking out, leaving you and him alone in the living room. You knew the house was empty, Carol was right, it is a good day outside, and now that you all can go out the house, everyone was out. You looked back at him, your eyebrows narrowed, confused on why he cut you off so suddenly and also irritated for the same thing. Rick leaned back comfortably on the couch but he raised an eyebrow when you were gonna stand up. He watched you silently for a couple seconds, wondering if you were gonna walk away. "Where are you going?" He spoke up, you got up your seat "out" after your short answer you started walking towards the door, making Rick quickly stand and grabbing your arm. "I want to talk." He said, his tone strict and serious, completely different from before. You turned around, glaring back at him. "i don't" You answered him. He let go off your arm after seeing your expression, he acted so though but still a simple face from you made him move back. "About last night" He spoke up again. You let out a frustrated sigh and looked away. "Then they ask me why i don't like you.." He mumbled and you turned your head again. "Last night i was.." His tone getting lower with every word. "Drunk. yeah i know, i was too" You finished his sentence and he let out a sigh before sitting back down, at that point you thought for a second to just run for it but you decided to be mature and don't run.. yet. You stood there with your arms crossed. "problem solved, right?. both drunk and tired. I say we never talk about it ever again and you leave me alone like you always did" You added, looking down at him. "I fucking hate you." He whispered followed by another sigh, that man was near his last straw. You stayed silent, but after a few minutes of none of you talking, you decided to do it. "I don't understand what's hard here." After that you tried to open your way out of this conversation, it was a good deal. But his face didn't look like he agreed. "You're a coward" He replied, his elbows resting on his knees and his hands in his hair, that man was going thru it. "Proudly" You added, before making only a single step towards the door. At that he snapped and got up his seat, grabbing your arm. His face completely changed, you never saw it on him with any of you, only with the people you and the group encountered on your previous days before Alexandria. "I will never trust you.." He whispered, looking at you, his eyes looked like they were on fire. He was so close to you that your bodies almost touched. You were looking at him, not moving back and without saying a word. "You can make the others do with your little friendly act. But i know, since the moment i first saw you that you are just full of crap." You took a deep breath, taking his words in without a reaction. You thought it was the best. He slightly tightened his grip on your arm and he got closer to your face. "Don't make problems, you already made enough." He finally finished but he didn't move, his face still close and his hand still holding your arm. There was a moment of silent where you just looked at each other: you were trying to stay calm, he was for a reaction. "Fuck you" You whispered, not taking your eyes off of him. His expression got even more mad than it already was, and you were eighty percent sure he was going to hit you and you were going to fight. Your body tensed, ready to react. Slap, punch, kick, anything you were ready to fight. Both your chests moved fast, there was a thick tension in the air and it made it hard to breath. You closed your hand in a fist, but as soon as you did he quickly grabbed the collar of your shirt and in a second his lips were on yours. You froze, you opened your hand without even realizing. His grip on your arm was still strong, maybe even stronger, and his hand on your shirt made it hard for you to move. The kiss was deep and tensed, after a few seconds you finally give in and place your hand on the side of his neck, pulling him like he was doing with you. His hand on your arm slowly loosened and he moved it to your waist, caressing you body on the way there, then he pulled it against his body, making you jump at the contact with his pants right in that place. A suffocated moan left your lips at the feeling of the moment, making him get into the kiss even more. His hand moved to your lower back, right up your ass, keeping you in the same position, pushed right against his hard pants. You moved your other hand to his side, the other one still on his neck. He slowly grabbed the bottom of your shirt, moving it to touch your skin. In that moment the doorknob slightly moved and both of you pushed each others away, right before the door open. You were both out of breath and he turned the other way, going for the couch, quickly sitting down and lay a pillow on his legs. In the meantime you walked towards the kitchen, stopping in the middle of the way to look at Daryl walking in. You made sure to smile at him, hiding any emotion that would say you are so turned on right now. "Hey" You said with a big smile. He nodded at you, it was his way to say hi i guess. "Why are you home so soon?" You asked, turning towards him while he walked to the couch. "Just' tired." He simply said before looking at Rick sitting still on the couch, one arm opened and the other resting on the pillow on him, he was smiling at him too, and Daryl nodded. Without saying another word He sat on the side of the window, starting to sharpen his knife. Rick looked at you and you made sure not to and looked at Daryl before walking towards the door and leave.
