Enchanted

Universe: Canon
There was a man staring at Lilith, and if he didn’t stop soon, the quill in her hand may very well find its new home in between his eyes.
He looked down at his parchment when she glared at him, making sure she was sending a clear message with her expression, but Lilith didn’t miss the slight twitch of his lips. He found their exchange amusing, and she gripped the quill tighter.
The man was the one of the scribes assigned to work with Lilith and a few of the other rider and infantry officers when they came back from recon missions, and he was new. She’d never seen him before, and Lilith loathed to admit that he was quite handsome. There was something about the way his eyes spoke volumes without him speaking a single word, and despite her glares, he never backed down from taking her in.
She cornered him after the meeting and was a little peeved to discover that he was taller than her by a few inches.
“Is there a reason why you were staring at me?”
“Can a man simply not be enchanted by a fierce woman in leather?”
