Elevator

The jerking should’ve been enough of an indication but Violet did not believe that something was wrong until the elevator came to a complete stop in between the floors with a screeching halt. The motion shook her right into her neighbor’s side.
“Oof,” she exclaimed, ramming her nose right into his bicep. Oh god, kill her now. Only she would have the absolute insane luck that would entail her not only getting stuck in an elevator with her crush, but she would just cause him bodily harm.
Although, with how badly her nose hurt, it was more likely that it was the opposite.
Xaden grabbed a hold of her shoulders, helping her right herself. “Are you okay?”
“Fine,” Violet answered, rubbing her nose. She heard a slight scoff and looked up to see Xaden smiling down at her. “Are you laughing at me?”
“Of course not.”
Violet let out a gasp and turned her body to elbow him in the side.
“Ow! You’re violent for someone who was just freaking out about the elevator stopping.”
