Chapter Text
“Jesus, Lori…” Tiffany’s groans were long and low as she watched in awe as her girlfriend rode her into the bed like her life depended on it.
Lori rolled her hips into Tiffany’s, firmly and steadily. Her small but perky breasts moved with her. Her flushed face and parted lips making her look magnificent.
“Come, Tiffy,” Lori breathed.
Tiffany was close. How could she not be when Lori was on top of her like this? But she couldn’t. Lori always came first. Tiffany made sure of it. Either Lori came first or they came together. Tiffany always put Lori ahead of her in all aspects of her life.
“No,” Tiffany shook her head. “Not without you.”
“I want you to.”
“Lori,” Tiffany dug her nails into Lori’s thighs when she rode harder. “Baby, please…”
“I want to see you undone for me. Like this.”
Lori went faster and Tiffany was in physical pain trying to hold out but as soon as Lori grabbed Tiffany’s hands and put them on her breasts, she was gone. She cried out Lori’s name, swore, and completely lost herself in the process. Fuck, it felt good. Lori always made her come so hard. It was moments like this where she revelled knowing she was the only person who could have Lori this way and she’d murder anyone who tried to take Lori from her.
“That’s my Tiffy…” Lori purred and fell to her own release, shaking and trembling against Tiffany before collapsing on top of her.
“Fuck’s sake, Lor…” Tiffany was spent. “You came, right?”
“Yes, baby,” Lori kissed her chest. “I came.”
Tiffany curled her arms around Lori, holding her tightly as guilt settled in her.
“Don’t,” Lori uttered.
“Don’t what?”
“Feel guilty. I wanted you to come first.”
Tiffany sighed. “You matter more than my own pleasure, Lor. You deserve to finish first.”
Lori sat up and looked directly at Tiffany. “When are you going to stop keeping yourself in emotional debt? When are you going to realise you don’t need to earn me? I want you to be vulnerable. I want to take care of you. I want sex to be about us, not you trying to fix something.”
Tiffany was silent. She had no idea Lori saw that in her. Her whole life, Tiffany was a master at hiding her vulnerabilities and preventing anyone from seeing who she really was but… who was she kidding? As soon as she started dating Lori, all of that dissolved.
“We’ve been dating for over a year now,” Lori continued. “The past is in the past. You’re a completely different person. I’m seeing the real Tiffany and that’s what I truly need from you. I don’t want you hiding from me, self-sacrificing, and, most of all, punishing yourself when we’ve resolved all that.”
Tiffany hooded her eyes, hating how accurate the words were.
“Baby,” Lori placed her hand on Tiffany’s cheek, causing their eyes to meet again. “I love you - the real you. I love that you respect me and always keep me in mind but you don’t need to put yourself below me. I want you - need you - to be beside me.”
“Lor, you mean the world to me. I’m happy to put you first. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because you’re not giving yourself what you need and deserve.”
“I… I don’t know how to…”
Lori’s gaze softened and Tiffany wanted to look away again but couldn’t.
“That’s why you’ve got me,” Lori placed a gentle kiss on her lips and just like that, Tiffany felt the tension she didn’t realise she had loosen a bit.
“I’ll… try,” Tiffany said.
Lori smiled. “Thank you, baby. Now,” Lori shifted from the bed and wrapped a towel around her. “I’m going to get the water and snacks. You stay there and pick something for us to watch - something you want.” Lori threw her a wink and Tiffany breathed a laugh, watching her girlfriend’s ass as she left the room.
It was odd waiting for Lori. Usually, Tiffany would get the snacks and everything else they needed. Tiffany would take care of everything. But Lori had been right. She had been punishing herself for how she treated Lori in the past. How could she not have? She was horrible to Lori and Lori had every right to tell Tiffany where to go but she never did. Tiffany didn’t deserve her and she grappled with that everyday. She had no idea Lori saw that in her. It was never her intention.
Tiffany loved Lori more than anything. She wanted to take care of her, protect her, and be there for Lori for whatever she needed. There was no need for Lori to reciprocate because she simply didn’t have to but, again, it was all punishment and now, Lori saw her. She saw everything Tiffany was and she was still here. She loved Tiffany and she wanted to take care of her. It was going to be hard, so, so hard to let go but she wouldn’t have even thought about it if Lori didn’t insist, but it was also more than that. She trusted Lori. Tiffany knew nobody would see her the way Lori did. Nobody could ever be on the same level as Lori. The quiet, strong, independent girl - the love of her fucking life - was it for Tiffany. She didn’t want anyone else. She never did and never would. She had never been so sure about anything.
When Lori returned and climbed back into bed, she immediately took Tiffany in her arms, cuddling her close. It was an odd feeling - a mix of vulnerability, small, raw, open, and somewhat embarrassing. She wanted to shift, to move out of Lori’s grasp so she didn’t feel that way but she forced herself still and with that, came something completely foreign - mourning. But it wasn’t what she did to Lori in the past, it was the love she denied herself all this time. Her heart fluttered, her stomach sank, and, for the first time, Tiffany allowed herself to just be. Lori was holding her without expectation and without needing anything in return. The ache she felt in her chest was no longer of guilt, shame, or regret but instead of love and permission.
Tiffany kissed Lori’s chest and snuggled closer, taking everything Lori gave her.
“Have you picked something for us to watch?” Lori asked gently, teasing Tiffany’s hair.
“No,” she muttered. “I want to stay like this for a while.”
She didn’t need to look to know Lori was smiling. Lori kissed her head and tightened her arms just a little more around Tiffany. Tiffany let it happen, relishing in the feeling of Lori’s warm body against hers.
“Anything for my Tiffy,” Lori said and Tiffany hummed, content.
