“ What do you mean you're in love with him ? Griz, he's with me ! We danced together at the ball ! ” Jennyanydots squealed at her sister, tears in her eyes as Grizabella groaned.
“ Look, Jenny.. I'm sorry, but.. I can't stop feeling like this ! I don't want to hurt you, really, but I want him to make his own choice about this. ” Tears fell from the calico's eyes, her hands shaking as they were held together.
“ Griz.. I'm pregnant, and it's his. ”
Eyes widened, “ What ? ”
“ I'm pregnant, Griz. ”
“ It's his ? ”
“ Yes.. ”
“ What the hell, Jenny ?! You're so much younger than he is ! He's as old as Daddy ! Or even older ! ” Jennyanydots sobbed into her clasped hands at her sister's words.
“ I know ! But he's just so cute, Griz ! ”
“ I know ! That's why I want him too, Jen ! ” Grizabella sighed, walking up to her sister to offer her a hug. Jenny accepted, sobbing softly into her sister's arms.
“ He asked me to, He wanted an heir. ” Green eyes sharpened their gaze on the smaller of the two, confusion dancing around the edges. Sorrow filled Grizabella as she realized what that meant, her poor, poor sister. Of course he went young to make an heir, but there were so many better Jellicle's to choose from. Like her !
“ Well, At least he asked. I'm glad he had the decency to do that, How far along are you, Jen ? ” Griz asked softly, holding Jen's shoulders comfortingly. Even if she was upset that her sister had dibs on the only tom that spoke out to her so far, she still wanted to be a good big sister.
“ About a month, now. ” Jenny hummed softly, sniffling and rubbing her belly gently. “ He wants to be apart of it, the baby's life.. ”
Grizabella raised a brow, “ Will you two be together ? ”
“ I hope so.. ”
