Summary
“I didn’t need anyone to tell me if it was okay or not,” the boy says. “He’s the most important person to me, and I know that’s all that matters.”
“It’s different,” Yoshiki mumbles, dropping his chin into his hand. “Hikaru ain’t— I mean— it’s just— he’s… a monster.”
The boy eyes him, silent for a moment. He studies Yoshiki, but he’s not judgmental, and it’s weird, he thinks. Not being judged.
“I was a monster, too,” the boy eventually says. “He still loves me.”
__OR: crossover moment!!! the jjk trio are sent to kubitachi on a mission to identify and monitor potential curse activity in the area. at the same time, yoshiki meets a couple of city folk who just might be able to change his entire life’s perspective.

yoshiki can be what he is and hikaru can be what he is. i lovehow initially protective yoshiki was of hikaru, saiyn ghtat he doesnt want him to be anyone else (human) just 'hikaru' and i guess thats when yuuji realized that yoshiki loved him (both when he was a human and the hikaru now) ig yoshiki didnt want hikaru to feel the way he feels (trapped and smothered in this town that wouldnt accept "someone like him" (queer) amen bro is just like me (in a religious country)
