A few hours later Xiao walked in and threw his coat on his bed and then lied down.

Gaming: “Dang you were out for a while.”
Xiao: “I was at Ventei’s party…” Xiao said with minimal effort
Gaming: “So you're gonna have a massive hangover tomorrow, Noted.” Gaming sighed

Gaming took the incentive to turn off all the lights in the room. After doing it he climbed into bed and laid down. He couldn't get his mind to settle down. About 15 minutes had passed before he finally decided to leave his dorm and walk around the halls. He was on the base floor now planning to head to the cafeteria to get a snack from a vending machine when he saw something from the corner of his eye.

Gaming: Huh! What..
Kaveh: It's just me gaming, don’t be all scared.
Gaming: You can’t just appear out of nowhere like that, it scares people you know!
Kaveh: Yeah, yeah whatever. Oh uhm could you buy me a bag of chips and a soda from the vending machine? I’ll pay you back later!
Gaming: Sure whatever, But you gotta actually pay me back this time!

Gaming bought him and Kaveh some snacks and they walked back to the elevator together. Somehow their conversation drifted to Alhaitham–who might just be one of Kaveh's favorite subjects. After the elevator had stopped the doors slowly opened, Gaming got off and said his goodbyes to Kaveh.

Timeskip next morning

An alarm buzzed in Gaming's dorm room. Gaming leisurely turned it off and yelled at Xiao

Gaming: Xiao wake me up in five minutes!
.
Xiao didn’t respond but Gaming didn’t seem to notice and fell back asleep. Half an hour later Gaming woke back up and picked up his phone to check it.

Gaming: Shit, shit, shit.
.
Gaming grabbed a pillow and threw it at Xiao before getting up and finding something to wear.

Xiao: Ah! What the hell Gaming!
Gaming: We're late! I told you to wake me up!
Xiao: Stop fucking yelling my head is pounding!
Gaming: Fine, but get up! This is my last tardy before iss!

Gaming and Xiao hurriedly got ready and used the elevator to head to the base floor of the dorms. After arriving at the base floor they bump into Layla, Rosaria, and Sayu–who are also late to class but don’t seem to care anymore. Gaming says a quick Hi to them while Xiao continues walking. Gaming and Xiao eventually made it to their first periods 45 minutes late.

Gaming: Sorry Professor Diluc, I promise I won’t be this late again!
Diluc: sigh. Just sit down Gaming.

Gaming made his way to his desk and sat down. He scanned the class room to see if Freminet was in his first period but he didn’t see the boy. The period flew by but that was to be expected with the fact there was only 15 minutes left. When Gaming was on his way to his second period he got slapped on the head which made him immediately turn around.

Gaming: Ow! What the heck!
Hu Tao: Ming! Why did you just randomly hang up on me last night after begging to talk to me!? Is it because of the Freminet kid!
Gaming: I mean yeah, kinda? I gotta go before I'm late to class again by Tao!

Gaming sprinted down the hall to his second period economics class. Once he entered he sat down seconds before the tardy bell rang. His eyes scanned the class and they landed on Freminet. He instantly smiled and waved and Freminet waved back. Miss. Ninggaung started teaching the class but before long the intercoms crackled on and said “Gaming Yip please report to ISS. I repeat Gaming Yip please report to ISS.” The whole class including Freminet started at Gaming. Miss. Ningguang sighed.

Ninggaung: Gaming, What did you do this time?
Gaming: Nothing bad I promise! Just some tardies…Heh.
Ninggaung: Head down to ISS.
Gaming: Yes ma’am.

Gaming collected his things and slowly walked to the door. He stopped at Freminet's desk.

Gaming: Hey, Uhm once you see me again can I see your schedule and uhm let me know what we do in class today?
Freminet: Uh yeah I can do that…
.
Gaming walked out of the class and soon found himself in ISS. Mr. Writholesly instructed him to sit down next to Kazuha. Gaming sat down and laid his head down in an attempt to sleep.

Kazuha: Pst, Ming.
Gaming: Huh?
Kazuha: What are you in ISS for?
Gaming: Tardies, you?
Kazuha: Some kid snitched on me for being high on naku weed. I was supposed to be expelled but my mom gave principal Zhongli hush money. So now I just have all week iss.
Gaming: Yeah, that checks out.

The next few periods passed through quickly. Every now and then someone new would walk in the door and be seated. After three periods Gaming was released from his half-day ISS. He was now heading to his sixth period aka gym.
