Chapter 1: Sweet Dreams
Chapter Text
All the fairies felt delighted as the announcement of the new Queen arrived. Queen Clarion, the one that saved them from the Nightmares, now promising a new era of union between the warm seasons and Winter. Everyone rejoiced by seeing her stand tall upon the multitude, but a part of her did not share the same sentiment. The Warden of the Winter Woods, Milori, and the queen of Pixie Hollow, Clarion, fell in love. From the first moment they saw each other on that afternoon it was like they were meant for each other.
She would do anything for him and vice versa. Milori broke his wing while saving Clarion’s life from dying out in the cold. This event made her realize something, if they continued to be together, she would always take him first into consideration while ruling over Pixie Hollow. In the worst-case scenario, she would let anyone suffer if that meant seeing her lord live another day. That was insanity, as rulers their subjects always must come first. She wanted to be a great ruler, just like Elvina and the other queens that came before. These many responsibilities slowly drained her sense of self. She was no longer Clarion, just a machinery controlling every single digit in this kingdom. Could not deny her anxiety about failing, but that must remain a secret.
The queen sat above on the trees, hidden between leaves, seeing Milori looking for her at the other side of the bridge. Like her, he was hidden all the way back from the crowd. Expectant to see if Clarion would get closer to the border and have a glimpse of her at least one last time. She did not want to see him again. Not due to lack of love, more like the overflow of it in her system. Every time she saw him, her heart stopped for a fraction of a second. She wanted to jump into his arms and never let go. Water him in praises and kisses. Maybe even marrying him if there was any luck... or have his kids—— ...And there it was, her hyperactive mind taking over.
It was common for fairies to form families at one point in their lives. The difference between governing-talent fairies—who were born from a star that a kid wished upon— was that all other types of fairies could be born from the love of two. The one who took the role as her ‘mom’ was her predecessor, also fallen from a star. Even if she did not have a bond of mother and daughter, she would like to have one her own. It was not really studied by anyone how reproduction and genes worked. The magical talent of this newborn most of the time depended on the ‘dominant gene’ which was a total mystery until it was born. From what Clarion knows, the result of the union of a governing-talent and any other type of talent fairy was a complete enigma. Was doubtful that governing magic could be hereditary, so that heated up the question of how her hypothetical children with Milori would look like.
Lost in her thoughts, she stayed there the whole festivity until her subjects started to leave. The moment she got distracted for a bit too long looking at the civilians, she noticed that Milori was looking back at her. Everything hush, as a breeze from winter rub her features. Longing and craving were reflected on his eyes. It was like time stopped at that precious moment saying that everything would be fine. She wanted to cry, his pain transferring to her soul. Milori wanted her as much as her.
Slowly, while everyone was packing up to go away, she fluttered down from the tree. The pull that Milori emanated drowned her in agony. She was just like a moth going to a bulb, something dangerous, impossible but intoxicating. The desire to get close, even for one last time, was a need. When reaching the floor, she stood at the front of the bridge that connected the two realms. Clarion took a deep breath while walking closer. Self-doubt washed over her, this was wrong, and before she could turn back, Clarion was already facing Milori. He had hope on his gaze, he believed that she was about to confess something. His glow was about to shatter and Clarion knew it; it made her feel monstrous for playing with his feelings like this. They watched each other in awe for a few seconds.
— “Congratulations, your Highness” — he broke the ice in a soft tone
— “Thank you, Lord of Winter”— Clarion murmured back not meeting his gaze lingering on her.
What’s up with these formalities, that was it? Their short, but passionate love story just resumed into an anti-climactic end. There was so much to say, to experience with him by her side, but so little time left. Silence embraced them again, its like they had no mouth and wanted to scream.
— “Is there a way that I can change your opinion about us?” —a plea emerged from Milori — “I’m not sure if I can forget about this... Who I lie to? I will not forget”
He gave an empty chuckle to hide his pain. Clarion noticed how hurt he was by how his eyes water; unable to look back at her. She was shocked by the raw feeling he showed and could not contain her sadness either. Clarion jumped into his arms to receive a tight embrace. Pressing her face against his shoulder to hide from his vision.
— “I’m so sorry Milori, but we can’t be together even if we want to. It’s too dangerous!” — she blurted while choking on her own tears.
— “Why not, we haven’t tried yet! We were fine by taking the necessary precautions, we can continue” — Milori objected while holding her tightly against him.
— “Do we really have to try? Your wing is broken and its my fault. Who knows what could happen on the future” — now Clarion was shouting— “Precautions aren’t enough, anything can happen at any moment”
— Milori took a deep breath and whispered to her — “Clarion, I would always do anything to protect you, even if I’m by your side or not. I do not care about my wings if that means I can see you by my side another day. Anything can happen any moment, even if we are together or no. It's better to use that time we have by doing what we want deep in our hearts. Please, don’t do this to me. Let’s at least try, please!” — at this point he was pleading at the border of collapse. He had what you would call ‘crazy eyes’.
Clarion started to consider his desires, maybe there was a chance that everything would go as they’ll like to. She felt hope, that everything would be alright if they had each other. But her little smile vanished after watching his broken wing again.
— After a long silence Clarion responded — “I’m sorry Milori, but it’s a no... I shouldn’t be here on the first place” — she slowly pushed back from him and walk away. Milori’s expression was full of anger, sadness and deception.
— “As you wish, your Highness...” — resentfulness palpable from his tone. he stood there in complete defeat. Milori wanted to just be able to grab her and show that they are meant to be.
She needed to understand that, but forcing anything would back her away rather than help him. After a while he called Noctua—— flew away with a blue face. This day was a disaster, didn’t go as he hoped.
Clarion did not look back. Once she was high enough on the afternoon sky, tears fell on her rosy cheeks. This day a total disaster. She genuinely considered to leave everything behind for a second and just stay with him; but that would be egoistical. She cannot just leave her subjects to follow a silly romance without counting the consequences. Why could not she be born like the other fairies and live a simple life. Why she had to sacrifice herself for others and her subjects could be individualistic.
When the moon started to rise on the horizon, she entered her chambers through the balcony. Felt like hiding herself away from the world and cry until it was unbearable. A sigh pass between her lips as she took out the comb from her hair. Her eyes puffy due to her crying. Shook her head from side to side not caring to detangle it. as she stared from her windows the mountains located on Winter. She walked towards her balcony questioning if this was the right decision for them at long term. Maybe she was wrong and had time to fix it up. But by looking down at her subjects she realized that the most secure way to maintain them save was from locking her feelings away——and that’s what she did.
Six months passed. For the world, just a mere blink, but for her—— even though her life was far much longer than the average fairy——felt like an eternity. Every waking moment she had was about missing Milori and craving his touch. She remains strong to a no contact phase, only seeing each other on official reunions. Her past version hoped that by this point she would feel like herself again but the pain only got worse the more time it passed.
Over the past months Clarion has been obsessed with work just to not think about Milori. If she was abandoned on her thoughts, it was likely she would end up crying on her bed all day. Read a book that Petra gave her has been her latest obsession to pass the time. Was a short romance novel, an ‘enemies to lovers’ of sorts. Nothing too original, if she had to do a summary about it, it would go like this: “A girl in exchange of keeping her town safe gets locked up by an evil king, a beast. At first, she fears him but starts to develop a sweet spot that blooms into love. When the town tries to save her from the beast she no longer wants to run away, wants to stay. Due to no one understanding their love they run away to no longer be found.”
This book was Clarion’s guilty pleasure by visualizing herself as the girl and Milori as the beast. This little fantasy made her cope with the reality of his absence. She dreamed that he would capture her and take her far away, somewhere where she would not need to be a queen——just herself. It was hard for that to happen due to the time that has passed, probably Milori already forgot about her. Maybe he took a winter-fairy and made her his wife——no, there has been too little time for that. Her mind was starting to catastrophize things once again as the sadness started to take over her heart.
Trying to calm down she looked around her room. It was better for her to just go to sleep, tomorrow is a new day. As she got up from her bed a ‘woosh’ buzz her ears, like someone accompanied her. She took a peak to the outside in her balcony but no one was there. Preferring to ignore thinking it was just her mind tricking her she turned the light off and lay down on her bed.
Every day before going to sleep she would close her eyes imagining how it would be if the two of them were together. The fantasy version she had of Milori was as real as the original. Someday she would stop putting her subjects before her and he would be her saviour just like in the book. Their happily ever after recognized by the kingdom... oh, what a girl can dream in times of need. But how can she ignore it when it was the only thing keeping her on reality. She wanted to stop and just let it go, but she could not. It brought her happiness, hope and a friend to be with even if it was on her mind.
From the outside this is just sad, for her it was paradise, a safe place. At this point she must be late to fix anything with Milori so it was better to hold into the sweet memories and pray that she can move on eventually. She made a mistake so most of the time she dreamed about dates, marriage, form a family, rule Pixie Hollow together or something as simple as sharing a bed. With that last thought the fantasies started to distort into something more carnal as her hand slipped down to her core. Him on their matrimonial bed holding her tightly, kissing her, and patting her hair. How his hands would feel touching her, his pressing weight on top of her. Their breaths combined in a dance as passion takes over their rational brain.
Her nipples started to peek through the clothing in a tingly sensation. As she rubs them in gentle circular motions, she closes her eyes imagining him. Does he had ‘rub’ himself while thinking about her? She would like to witness that act or maybe even help him. Watching his chest expand and contract in anticipation; his cock throb against her hand, his balls clenching tightly while reaching orgasm. Liking things of this nature was embarrassing due to not having any real experience. The chance of having a deeper intercourse had never appeared, so all her desires came from the books she read in her free time. The closest she had got happened while she was kissing Milori. His cock was hard against her, but she had to go, the cold was consuming her.
In her fantasies, Milori would enter her room as she sleeps and push his hand between her thighs. Would rub her clit while holding her, unable to break free. Her pussy wet as his fingers start to push deeper in her entrance preparing her to receive his girth. Her moans shut with his kisses as he tortured her sweet spot over and over. She would beg him to fuck her raw with all his force and he would deny her pleas. Before she could escape, she already would be shaking as her orgasm crashes like a tidal wave. He would leave her there like a winy mess begging for more.
Her fantasy started to come to life as her fingers were frantically pushing in and out from her imagining that was his hand. Her moans muffled against her pillow with quick gasps of air, her mind not making coherence anymore until she came. Her pussy clenched around her fingers begging for his member to go inside her. But he was not there since long ago and probably would never see him again. After pushing her wet fingers out, all her muscles felt heavy, and the pulse of her heart slowed. Everything around her vanished, just leaving the soft sheets wrapping her up.
Now she misses him even more. Would love to not need to use her imagination and just have him by her side, but her past self was stupid. She rejected him even if the destiny gave her hundreds of opportunities to accept him. Now she cried as the consequences washed over her. Her eyelids felt heavy as her mind drifted to dreamland. In a last peak of her room, she distinguished a shadow on her balcony, the form of a man. But at this point her mind was delirious so it must be simply a dream...
A new day has begun so once again the routine must start. Taking a bath, brushing her hair, doing her makeup, put on clothes and wait for Artemis to come to give her the news of the day. Probably would be the same as always, boring reunions. Sometimes with her subjects, other times the ministers, but it was for the same thing: questions and complaints. More than a queen, she was a counsellor for everyone and in the end of the day she was exhausted. After a long time reflecting for what this day has prepared for her, she heard a knock on her door.
— “Come in” — Clarion responded
— “Good morning your Highness. I have important news to share to you” — Artemis stated. Clarion noticed her a little alarmed. — “Comes from Winter, Lord Milori sended you this letter” — Artemis handed out the letter to the Queen.
Clarion’s heartbeat dropped by hearing the name Milori. Last night she was pleading to see him but did not expect to actually happen. Across these months they have seen each other in reunions with the other ministers. Never interacting in another way that was not official manners. Her heart always dropped when she had to face him. He did not miss her at all, he was happy. In front of her he would joke with the other ministers like if they were his best friends. On the other side of the table, she would be shaking with grief. “I want you” is what she wanted to say, but the words simply did not come out.
Her enthusiasm sky rocketed thinking that he wants to communicate with her. Still, her feet must remain on earth. Could be simply something as mundane as letting her know everything was in order. She grabbed the letter and read its contents.
Dear Queen Clarion,
"Here in Winter, we have been attacked by an unknown creature. Around fifteen fairies are in critical condition. Houses and trees have been broken to shreds. I tried my best to find the creature, but I was attacked. It was too fast, I couldn’t see anything. I’m fearing that the ‘thing’ could cross the border of Autumn or Spring at any moment. Please watch over the borders and if its not too much to ask I would really appreciate your assistance here. I don’t have much time to write this so I could share more details in person. I cannot search for you, but I will send a scout in the afternoon to look after you."
Yours always,
Milori
A new monster has emerged after she believed it was over. How naive of her to think that moments of peace would be permanent. Still, she wondered why the attacks have been occurring one after the other non-stop since her coronation became official. Panic started consuming her over, Milori had been hurt again. It was impossible to know how bad the situation was but must be horrible if he cannot share too many details on the time he has. Did his wings completely shatter? What if he lost an arm? Maybe lost a leg? Before she knew it, she had become as paranoid as Petra.
— “Your Highness, is everything alright?” — Artemis had a worried expression and got closer to Clarion
—“There has been a new attack on Winter. Milori doesn’t know what is, but around fifteen fairies are in horrible state. He requires my assistance.”
— “With all due respect, why does he need you over there? Can not he share all the information via writing?”
— “He is in critical condition and cannot share all the information we need through text. He needs to talk directly with me. I’m going to warn the other ministers about this problem. Artemis, please call Captain Nighshade to come here” —
Artemis followed her orders and went into the search for the captain. Clarion glanced over her desk and started writing letters for the ministers warning about this unknown creature attacking on winter, and how it was getting near to Autumn or Spring at any moment. After a while Captain Nightshade appeared on her chambers. Clarion explained the situation: no one must leave their homes unless it's completely necessary before they locate the creature; all the scouts must guard the Autumn-Winter and Spring-Winter borders at all moments; and for last, she will be going to winter alone——no one else can cross the border until she changes orders——if anything happens she’ll communicate in the form of a letter.
Captain Nightshade nodded at the commands as she sprinted out of the palace to share the orders with her comrades. In a few minutes the citizens were ordered to hide in their homes until new notice; the ministers received the letters by fast-flying talents. Barriers started to form near the bridges due to the scouts in alert-mode. Their eyes wide open, searching for the creature lost in the woods. This whole process took around one hour to be completed, but Clarion was paralysed. As a result of knowing that Milori was hurt she could not focus on anything else. She needed to be on Winter as quickly as possible, but he mentioned that she should go during afternoon.
— “Your majesty, the scouts are in position as you commanded” — Artemis eyebrows furrowed as she looked down at the floor, thinking
— “Good, thank you for your service” — Clarion noticed her guard’s anxiety, she wasn’t saying something to her—Artemis, is everything all right?” —
— “I wanted to know why you don’t want anyone to accompany you to Winter. It’s dangerous and against the rule you established. There’s a monster on the lose, you could be injured severely by it” — Artemis was distressed by her decision
— “If its as dangerous as Milori mentioned on the letter it would be harder to get there if we are various people. Summing to that, he is going to send someone to take me to him on the afternoon. Transportation would be a little harder.” —Clarion made up that lie and Artemis could see it
— “I understand then, your highness. If you’ll excuse me, I would like to go with you until the border to know that you are safe- “
— “No need” —Clarion interjected giving a soft smile— “There will be other scouts watching anyways, I would prefer if you focused on checking if the Tinkers are doing fine”
Petra, it's true, Artemis has not checked on her since they started to protect the civilians.
—“As you wish, I’m going to retreat now then” — Artemis now felt that Clarion clearly was hiding something, but she cannot push any further. Probably the Queen just wanted to use this opportunity to be alone with her ‘Lord’— “Clarion, please stay safe” —she left the room—
— “You too Artemis, and don’t worry, I’ll be fine” — She waved her hand as her guard left.
When Artemis was gone, Clarion ran to her closet in the search of the winter equipment Petra made when she first crossed the border. It was as good as new—well, with a few scratches—but seem new. Clarion opened her bag to put it inside and comb her hair. Anxiety rushed through her at remembering how their last conversation went. It was so scary to see him again due to knowing how she will react——with need. But she needed to put all that aside, he was hurt and needed help from her to stop this madness once again.
The day passed painfully slow as she waited to be afternoon. The micro-second the sun started to hide on the horizon she grabbed her things and flew away to the Spring-Winter border.
The scouts stood tall across the border, prepared to attack if it was necessary. They greeted her when she passed between them. Already conscious of why she was there they didn’t do further questions. Some ‘good luck’ wishes could be heard on the background as she got on her feet at one foot away from the border. Once again, she was there. The snowy landscape was completely silent and empty. A snowstorm was occurring at that moment; it made it hard to distinguish the objects in there. Noctua would not be able to pass across the harsh wind if it continued, and the sun was already hiding completely causing doubt on her——what if no one comes.
Feeling like she could not wait any longer she decided to trespass the barrier herself. She gave slow steps as Winter embraced her warm body. Due to the change of temperature, a shiver ran down her spine as she walked to the woods. Clarion felt heavy moving across the snow, fighting her boots getting stuck inside of it. Felt like leaving it for tomorrow but the thought of fairies and Milori getting severely injured made her not back down. The scouts on the distance watch in awe as her silhouette vanished in the winter storm, the only thing identifying her was her golden glow.
The more the snowstorm grew she found out her life was at play. Her muscles aching because of the constant pull from her footsteps. Runny thoughts started to form as she wondered if Milori has been missing her too. How their reunion would be like? Nothing special was the most possible case-scenario. He must have forgotten about her, he could be capable of showing her his new girlfriend. No, be positive Clarion, this luck of yours must be for a reason.
Once she was deep on the woods the wind was not as harsh as before. Only then, she actually started to see the hinterland that envelope her. The pine trees were tall, strongly attached to the dirt. They extended immensely across the forest and that worried her. If the beast was still inside the Winter Realm, this was the perfect place for him to hide.
She walked aimlessly in a single direction, not distinguishing any other fairies or animals. Maybe was wrong of her to walk, maybe the winter scout was waiting for her in the border without knowing she was already on the middle of the forest. Hunger was starting to form——how much bad luck she needed. The only thing that remained her this was real was the letter Milori sended. This situation felt like a dream come true to her to point she could not take it seriously. The focus was more on the theme that this was the perfect opportunity to have an excuse to be by Milori’s side. There was the possibility that they would fix their differences and start over again.
Even if she tortured herself with work to not think about Milori, she hated having to think of solutions for everyone in Pixie Hollow. Sometimes there was a hope that she could push all her obligations away and live a simple life full of glee. Since the moments she was born, she was expected to fulfill all sorts of obligations, and now having to save the whole kingdom almost every month was not helping.
Crack—— She heard a stick break, like someone put their foot on top of it. That broke her thoughts away.
She turned around, looking for the origin of the sound. Maybe her solitude was not as real as she thought. ——Crack. Another footstep, now more near——On front of her she distinguished a shadow hiding between the trees. Didn’t look like a monster, more like a fairy wondering around; was looking directly at her.
— “Hello, who’s there?” — she yelled at the unknown person in a friendly tone —
Clarion regretted it on an instant after she saw what he had at hand——a knife. He did not answer her salute and vanished between the shadows. He moved around watching her, like a predator planning how to jump towards their prey. The stranger was not a friendly being, was going to attack her. The shadow started walking closer, due to the moonlight she could see more details. Was a man, covered on a thick black cape and a hoddie hiding his face. Had a strong tall body for what she could see, milky white skin and hair, clearly a winter fairy. He didn’t say a single word while walking. Clarion gave a few steps back in fear and tried to communicate but was futile.
The stranger started running fast to her, prepared to attack, and she ran too. Her body already was in pain due to the walk from before and exhaustion quickly catch her due to hunger. Clarion ran as fast as she could, yet the man was already behind about to grab her. She felt his cold hands against her hair. Consequently, she screamed when he pinned her down below him. She tried to kick him off as best as her panicked self could. From a pocket, he took out a thick rope and used his legs to press her arms to the floor. For a second, he just admired her and grabbed her chin up. She went still as an ice statue. After a while of this position she noticed, his groin was in front of her face. Was getting tight against his clothes. Now she could hear his ragged breath while imagining who knows what. Was he liking this that way? Was he going to do something to her?
—“Get off me you sick pervert! I’m the Queen of Pixie Hollow, if you dare to put any of your nasty fingers on top of my skin, I swear I’ll get you executed!” —She screamed between fear and anger. There was not really execution on Pixie Hollow, but she needed to sound severe.
"Seems like I had luck tonight. If you are going to execute me better to make it special, don’t you think?” — the stranger chuckled. His voice muffled down due to the clothes making it hard to identify it
— “I can’t believe Milori haven’t kill scum like you. letting you live freely-” — now she was praying that magically he was going to rescue her from this man.
— “I guess he is not as different as you think” — Clarion could distinguish a smile below the mask
Her mind started to swim trying to comprehend what does he mean that Milori is not as different. He was kind, romantic, gentle and a complete sweetheart compared to this monster. The stranger restrained her arms and legs with the rope and covered her mouth with his hand. Tears fell from Clarions cheeks due to the extreme fear she was feeling. By the time she thought of using teleportation magic, her anxiety was sky-rocking. As result, she squirmed against his grasp as he pulled out a flower she had never seen before and forced her to smell it. Her eyelids started to feel heavy, her ragged breaths slowed down and before she knew it, she entered a deep slumber. The last words she heard were:
“Good night my Starlight”

Chapter Text
Clarion felt relaxed while laying on her bed. Soft plush-like sheets warming her body as her mind drifted away into a deep slumber. Fuzzy thoughts formed on her head. “When did I got back home? I was in winter, right? It smells like cinnamon. Why are these sheets so soft”. The moment she woke up to the unfamiliar space she curled herself in a fetal position searching for comfort.
The walls were made with dark wood. The massive bed was covered on sheets made of cotton that kept her body warm. As she rose her head, fore her was a tiny bookshelf near the right wall. Away in the left the door was shut keeping the sound from the outside suppressed due to the thick walls. A window on her right brought to view the icy landscape of the Winter Woods. The room was a cubicle, and unlike other winter fairies’ homes, this one was human like—— in a tinier scale. On the outside, the snowstorm continued, but softer than before. Moonlight was the only thing that made the surroundings visible apart from the glow of her wings which were exposed. Rejoice filled her when she found out her wings did not shatter by the cold. Her best guess on how this was possible was that the wood of this cabin maintained the inside warm. The bed sheets also helped on this assignment.
Memories from the night before started to flood her head. She was attacked by that mysterious man that threatened to- no, is better to not imagine. When she glanced down, panic grew at the discovery that her coat was no longer on and was replaced by a satin nightgown. Wondering what he could have done to her she started to search around her body. Everything seemed to be fine, apart from a few scratches she had from the persecution in the forest.
A last place needed to be checked on so she lifted her nightgown to see if she was hurt ‘there’. Upon the realization that nothing happened, she threw doubt on why the stranger did not hurt her after saying all those nasty things. There was a need to know what to do now, all this situation was strange. Going out in the middle of a snowstorm is not the best idea, but neither wait until he actually tried to do something to her.
Teleportation magic, now she had all the time in the world to try to do it. Clarion with newfound strength sat on the bed, focusing all her willpower into teleporting. Her muscles relaxed and felt them vanish in the air. After a while, there was no progress. No magic was flowing through her. Her shaky hands repeatedly tried to do anything, but her powers simply cede to exist. Looking at her wings, she tried to fly and failed on the attempt causing her to fall onto the floor. Her hands pressed against her mouth trying to muffle her cries. How her powers could just disappear, she was a Queen. Something must be blocking her magic but how. There must be something she is not seeing. After a while, Clarion spotted something on her neck, a collar pressing firmly on her skin. It was a gentle yet firm pressure that would be imperceptible if you do not pay any attention.
Due to the presence of the mirror nearby she faced it and distinguished all the tiny details that had changed. Her hair has been brushed, waving down across her shoulders. The short light blue silk nightgown had sparkles across of it and barely covered the skin below her hips. At last, on her neck there was the collar. It was soft, like made of cotton, also of the colour blue. Below of it a tiny silver heart served as the cherry on top. She looked adorable, at least that’s how she saw herself. Was hard to know how she was going to get out of here without her coat when the few clothes she had were transparent.
Remembering the reason she was here in the first place, a rush of guilt took her over. Milori must think that she ignored him due to not appearing. Even if it was non-consensual, another man saw her naked body and this collar represented how now she was of his possession. Clarion didn’t care if Milori and her weren’t an official couple, still felt like cheating. He was under horrible suffering, their subjects could be dying right now and here she was, being the wet dream of a stranger. If she could get out of this situation and had to see Milori again, probably she would not be able to meet his eyes. In fact, would hide this event in the depths of her mind forever.
By turning around, she faced the door and twisted the doorknob——it was open. As she stepped outside, she sought for the kidnapper who was nowhere to be found. This was unlike the other homes winter fairies tend to do, it was not only that room, but everything kept the cold outside. Moreover, there was a chimney at her left facing a sofa, some more bookshelves on the walls and shut windows in the walls. At last, before her was the entrance door of the house, the perfect route of escape. All she needed now was her coat back.
Using the precious time she had before her captor returned, by casting around, she did not find her coat. She revised everything, boxes, drawers, bookshelves, inside the fire and even below the floor. Her coat has disappeared.
She sat down on the floor in total defeat. Death was secured if she tried to walk the Winter Woods without a coat so that meant she was trapped with her captor. How much she hoped that Milori knew what happened to her, or that she heard Artemis on being accompanied by someone. Before in the day she was so happy to have a second opportunity to fix things with Milori, but now she would never see him again.
The collar made her feel humiliated, like the possession of someone else so she tried to break it——she could not. Her neck transformed into a magnet for the collar and was impossible to take it off. Maybe it had magic. The anger got stronger every second. She was trying to save Pixie Hollow and one of her subjects thought it would be a good idea to capture her to rape her. That idiot, if he didn’t set her free, he would die due to the mons-
"So, you woke up” — the voice of the stranger sounded behind her. His voice still muffled by his mask.
Due to being lost on thoughts she didn’t hear the door open or any of his footsteps. Scared to look back she remained hyper-focused on the floor.
"I thought you were going to sleep a little more" — he started walking closer — "I was looking for more wood for the fire, so you don’t get cold y’know. Sorry for all that fuss on the forest, I just got carried away, I guess." — he chuckled, like her kidnapping as nothing.
Clarion was not sure if to fulfill her desire of knowing this stranger’s identity. Was gross to think that her captor could be an old man or just any ugly dude in general. On the other hand, maybe a huge man that she won’t be capable of putting any fight to. Someone that put their disgusting hands over her body.
"What are you going to do to me. Why don’t I have my powers?" — her voice was small and shaky. Without her powers, she was ruined
"I don’t know, guess having some fun with you. Didn’t think it would be that easy to capture you, you should be thankful it was me. And for your powers I’m really sorry, but I can’t give them back to you in the meantime. You would escape easily, and we don’t want that, aren’t we? If you wonder how I was able to do it, it was with that collar you have on"— he started to push the mask down. As he spoke, his voice transformed into something clearer. He closed the door and set the wood beside it.
Clarion could recognize that deep soothing voice. Her body shook in expectance. Could this man be-. She almost snapped her head to look back to the man. It was the Warden of the Winter Woods, Milori.
“Mi-, Mi-, Milori? MILORI!?” — She was flabbergasted; did he just kidnap her!? — “You were behind all of this, why did you-, weren’t you hurt!?” — Oh, she was real mad looking at his silent cocky grin
“That doesn’t sound really lady-like. And yeah, it was a lie. Calm down and I’ll explain everything” — he teased
“Milori, I’m not playing games right now, explain me all of this” —— she said in her Queen tone
Milori roughly grabbed Clarion’s chin for her to look at him—“I’m not playing games either, talk to me properly and I’ll explain. Now, due to you screaming at me like that, you have to say that you are sorry”—
Clarion felt her heart sink when Milori talk to her back like that. There was no way for her to tell if he was being serious or messing with her. He was intimidating, unlike the last time she saw him. He was being way too serious right now, it was better to follow whatever game he had. As the seconds pass, he squeezed her chin further, so she starts.
“I’m sorry”— Clarion blurted not meeting his gaze
“For what exactly?” — pressure being unbearable now.
“For... my bad altitude, I think...” — this was so embarrassing for her, she wanted to just let earth consume her. Her voice was small, barely a whisper.
“You think?” — said as he let go of her — “Also, you will need to end saying ‘My Lord’ when you say sorry. Do it again, looking at me, now.” —he had a wide grin now, why he wanted to humiliate her like this?
The Queen, on her knees before the Lord of Winter, raised her face to meet his icy grey eyes. What is wrong with him, he seems different, but she cannot point what. Her mouth went dry at his command, so in a shaky breath she responded
“I’m sorry for my bad attitude, my Lord” — now it was even more embarrassing with the full sentence
“Thank you, see it wasn’t hard? Now sit on the couch so we can talk”— he started walking into a kitchen to prepare apple cider vinegar for both. Milori was way too calm during all this.
Even though she wanted to demand answers, the memory of how he easily tackled down on the forest and how just now he forced her to say sorry to him were still present in the form of fear. Something was off and it was hard to find out what it was when her excitement was bigger than her anger. After such a long time he was finally here with her, in a home alone. Even better doing an apple cider vinegar for her. It was weird, even though she was supposed to be mad at him, she was dying to kiss him.
After a while he got closer to Clarion with a piece of ceramic full of the apple cider and gave it to her with a soft smile. Blush covered her face as her wings fluttered gently. Milori was just as handsome as the last time she saw him, maybe even more. He took of his dark coat to reveal a tank top, looks like someone has been studying humans eagerly for the past months. His muscles seemed to be a little bigger and more toned, his hair longer and some scars across his body. Her heart was beating even faster now, if it was possible, while he prepared to talk. Apparently, it was a difficult topic to him since he feared judgement from her. Clarion trying to calm him down, and use this moment as an excuse to touch him, she placed her hand on his.
“I’m not mad, I’m just confused on why you did all this if that’s what’s worrying you. I missed you, so I’m happy I get to see you again, even if it’s like this.” — Clarion was hopeful to hear him.
Milori’s breathing hitched as her hand caressed his forearm. His face got warm after seeing her doll eyes lingering on him waiting for his response. It was hard for him to express what he wanted, it was disgusting but knew she would accept him anyways. He drank a little of the apple cider and sighed. When he met her gaze, he began to talk.
“I need you, Clarion. Since the first day you fell from that star, even without knowing you, I knew I was going to make you mine. And then one day while wondering around the woods, I saw you and time stopped like if we were the only ones on this world. I was mesmerized by your beauty, like a moth making its way to flames and I knew you felt that pull too. But then you rejected me due to you being a queen and having “responsibilities” — his face now was dark — “At first, I tried to take it like the responsible young man I am and move on from it, but I couldn’t. What stupid excuse you made just to hide that you are scared of us failing. And then I searched for ways to keep an eye on you until I found this cute little thing”— he took out a tiny crystal ball that shone with a blue glow— “With this thing I can see everything you do and not only you, but anything. There I saw it; you missed me every waking nanosecond. You were suffering without me, and I had to do something. At the beginning, I believed it would be a bad idea to capture you, but then I paid attention to what you read all the time. I learned everything about you... all your... fantasies. Every night I accompany you to sleep, reading your books and writings” — he started to whisper near her, his voice darker every second— “You were always daydreaming about me. In all those reunions with the other ministers you acted like you didn’t care about me, but at night I watched you pump those delicate fingers inside you while you moaned my name- “
"Ok, enough!"
“But leaving aside the happiness I felt learning you are also a complete perv like me... I didn’t like to see you so sad all the time. You were so scared to come to me thinking I already replaced you when I would never be capable of it even if I wanted to. Knowing that you would not get near me if there wasn’t an emergency, I faked one. Clarion, now we are here together we can make our desires reality.”
“And for that you need to tackle me down in the woods and put me on these clothes.” — said with a false anger —
“Knew you would like it, I liked the chase. You looked so cute below me and running like a tiny animal...” — with a grin on his face
Clarion heard everything he had to say, and her face slowly morphed into a mix of happiness and horror. The man she found as respectable, in reality was a twisted mind full of sexual fantasies for her, just like she did. Right now, he was more focused on watching her breasts that peeked in the nightgown and hiding his erection. On the other hand, she felt fascinated that a man could be so desperate to have her to the point he planned all this. What else could he be hiding from her? The knowledge that he found intoxicating her cries of fear was already worrisome. Milori was so calm saying all this, like it was normal this level of obsession. Thinking on how to respond she gained time by sipping on her apple cider.
“Milori, I love you, but what the hell is wrong with you. Y-You’ve been stalking me all this time and created a fake emergency that has my subjects scared. — She stopped for a second not knowing if to say this — A-and, you are wrong, I wasn’t planning on going back with you. It’s too dangerous for the two to be together, look how unhealthy we are. We will end up hurting each other even if we don’t want to. As the Queen of Pixie Hollow I must- “—
“I’m tired of that phrase! Who says you can’t be a Queen and be with me. We could even rule together over this realm.” — Now he was just mad
“Milori, I’m sorry I just- just take me home. I need to tell my subjects that this was all a false alarm. We can’t be together I-“ — Her mind was starting to break. All this time she has been missing him, but now that she had the chance to be back once again with him, she didn’t want it. Why it was so hard for her to accept that she loves him. She tried to walk away, but Milori grabbed her forearm and sat her back. — “Let me go”
“I will not do that Clarion; you will stay until I make you change your mind. Be for real now with me, you’ve been crying wanting to be with me and now that you can you don’t want it. I’m sick of tolerating your selfishness, now you are going to listen to me, we need to be together. You are having so many responsibilities that is clouding your sight. Let me take care of you.” — Clarion tried to push him away, but he maintained her firm against the couch. —
“Milori, you have become insane. My sight is not clouded, yours is. We need to think for the greater good.” — that was a lie and he knew it.
“Always have been insane, you just pushed me over-the-edge. And Clarion, I know you don’t care that much about your subjects, you are just scared that we hurt each other. If you just followed what I said it would all be so much easier... you know what? I’ll just do it” — he looked away, planning on how to ‘help her’
“D-do what Milori...”— Clarion stuttered while backing away from him, but he cornered her in the border of the couch
Milori’s hands started to rub her thigh as he pressed his weight on top of her. Now Clarion was trapped beneath him who had lustful eyes roaming across her body. She tried to push him away, but was impossible, he was way stronger. He parted her hips open and colocated his arms behind her back, trapping her on a tight embrace. He planted kisses all along her neck until reaching her soft lips. His skin felt cold to the touch but still looked so warm with his blushy cheeks. Clarion felt his heart pounding against his chest and his eyes were unfocused thinking all sorts of fantasies.
“Maybe all you need is me to prove that you just need a man to take care of you. Don’t think Clarion, follow you hearts desire. I know you want it. Focus on following my orders.” — he murmurs against her.
Clarion felt like she was melting below his touch. She had to remain strong for the good of her subjects, but how bad she wanted to just give in. Knew that what he was doing was extremely wrong, and still her love for him was blindly guiding her to accept him. Their breaths were combined, like there was not enough air for the both of them. She could see his groin getting tighter against his clothes. How big it was? She felt it throb against her core, ready to just push through her. Her own heart pounded in unison with Milori’s on anticipation. Her hips made small movements in search of friction but for her misfortune, he stopped her. Got close to her lips and whispered...
“Sorry, but you haven’t been treating me well. Tonight, you should only concentrate on showing how sorry you are. I want you to suck me...” — he clearly looked shy by saying that, like it was some hidden fantasy of him
Clarion got impossibly wet at the thought and she didn’t know why. Her mouth went dry as her pupils dilated. She was shaking, their moans grew louder and their movements became erratic. Clothes suddenly felt too suffocating as he took off his tank top. 《Yes, he has been training hard definitely. 》Clarion thought. He kissed once again, this time pushing his tongue pass her lips. His mouth had the taste of the apple cider, the inside of it warm compared to the rest of his body. Milori passed his hands beneath her nightgown until her breasts were found. Now she was a moaning mess, he loved seeing Clarion recoil while pinching her nipples——so sensible. Once he was satisfied of playing with her, he pushed away.
“Get on your knees on the floor, now” — he ordered
Her mind was too far gone to deny him, so she did as he asked. Clarion rested her head on his thigh and watched in amusement as he let his member throb out of its imprisonment. Was bigger than she thought, in her mind winter fairies were small, even delicate. How to describe it, is not that different from how she thinks warm fairies are. Around eighteen milimeters; an uncut foreskin, a little too long; the skin was darker compared to the rest of his body; and his balls hanged a little lower than usual. Oh, and had pubic hair, maybe a little too much. She couldn’t contain her laughter thinking that it was to protect it from the cold. Of course, didn’t say anything to him.
Milori blushed seeing her watch so closely his member. Unable to contain his excitement, it started leaking a thick flow precum and the tip revealed it-self. It was a cute soft pink. Clarion fixed her hair behind her ear and got closer to the tip. He hitched due to feeling her warm breath near it. Kisses flew all over his cock with enthusiasm. She started by greeting his gland and pass her tongue around it. Milori was burning down there. At first, she thought it would be cold. Clarion started to kiss along the shaft like it was her lover and once she reached his delicate testicles she pressed her face, feeling their warmth against it. Due to their delicacy, she sucked on big mouthfuls causing her cheeks to hollow. His dick was now throbbing wanting even more of her. This drew Milori mad, they just started and he already wanted to cum.
My poor Lord has been holding for so long. Look how big they are, ready to fill a fertile womb...— she was just saying things she read on books on her free time when she was still just a Princess. It was her first time and was so nervous to turn him off. She was embarrassed after a second.
He was trying so hard to not moan too loud, but it was unattainable. Was hard to deny that he loved being referred as her lord, like she was his possession. From this position she, the Queen of Pixie Hollow, was below the lord of Winter. His fantasies were being made a reality and he prayed that they didn’t come to an end. This pushed him even closer to the brink. Milori could feel his orbs tighten, he was too close to release just from teasing. How pathetic of him but can’t help it. Between his quickened breaths he extended his shaky arms till’ reaching the Queen’s head. Surprised by this she was about to ask but got interrupted.
"Please, forgive me, but I can’t hold much longer, darling. I’m so close" — he pleaded to her with a smile
Gently he folded her hair back, and without warning, started forcing her down on his girth. Clarion panicked, it was too big for her. She could feel it stretching her throat as he forced himself balls-deep on her. Once she reached the end her mind was fuzzy, just thinking of not biting his cock——her eyes watered. Her nose was pressed against his lower abdomen and had a smell of his hairs. Surprisingly, it just smelled like snow somehow, how funny. The thought of him being so desperate to cum made her cunt throb with need, like begging him to cum inside her next.
He opened his mouth on a silent moan until getting lost in the heat of the moment. Her throat was impossibly wet and tight. Pressing more on his member every time she fought the urge to gag. He gave a few sloppy thrusts before feeling his climax crash onto him. He rolled his head back while moaning and started to move his hips even faster searching to prolong the sensation. Clarion widened her eyes as the first shots of his cum fell on her mouth. She could feel it throb——almost like it was in her own body. Was a weird sensation. This made her feel like she was going to have an orgasm herself at that point. For Milori, it felt way too intense compared to when he does it alone. Every part of his body was burning with need to do it all over again.
He started pushing his softening cock out with a wet plop. Saliva strands connected from the base of his cock to her mouth. He felt proud of making Clarion a total mess. Her make-up ruined by her watery eyes, the hair a mess from his grabbing, and her lipstick runny due to her saliva. Cum was still cling to her tongue and he was amazed seeing he struggle to swallow.
"Swallow it" — he ordered
Clarion’s lips curled in disgust as she tried her best to do so. After a few attempts she did with a loud gulp. As her consciousness slowly got back to the present, she glanced once again at his now flaccid cock. His cum was thick and salty, not something she would like to swallow all the time. Even after gulping it down the taste clung to her mouth.
“You are so beautiful like this, I knew you wanted it” — said as he caressed her cheek —
“It was... bigger from what I expected...” — she says after a while. That took Milori by surprise
“R-really? What were you expecting?” — now he had a wide grin on his face
“I don’t know, I thought winter fairies were delicate, if you get what I mean. I don’t even want to imagine how it would feel... down there...” — the last two words came as a whisper. His cock throbbed by the thought — “How big is it then?”
“Around twenty-two milimeters” — great, she failed for four points. —
“Ok, its way too much, would hurt like hell, h-how are you so big”— she cringed as the words left her mouth.
“Almost all winter fairies are taller than warm fairies, so of course I will be bigger down there”
Now Clarion was more confused by not knowing what he meant. All fairies were the same height most of the time. Only governing-talents were taller than the rest and she was taller than the other governing-talents.
“What you mean with warm fairies being shorter, all fairies are the same size. Only governing-talents are taller than the rest and I’m taller than them”
“Clarion, I’m taller than you”
“Oh really? Get up then”— a chuckle left her body when she says that
Milori got up from the couch, and she stood up from the floor. Her ego deflated once she was in front of him. By getting by his side, she noticed that her shoulder was below his and the top of her head only reached his eyes.
“...How’s that possible, I’m the queen.” — her eyes were wide open in confusion — “I know you are a governing-talent, but still- And why would the rest of the winter fairies be taller?”
Milori pulled her closer to him and pressed her face to his bare chest in a hug — “When I first saw you, I had the same question if I’m honest, you seemed average size for being the Queen. After a while I learned that all warm fairies are smaller in general, I saw it in the day of your coronation. I read some books that had a little information about the topic and just concluded that it was due to the harsh environment here. Like, its colder, we need more mass to keep us warm and strength to move between the snow. I think that’s it.” —
“Then that means that from what we know, you are the only one who is taller than me. Why?” — she was more focused on watching his muscles flex against her,
“Yeah, the rest of winter fairies are taller than the average warm fairy, but no one is our same height. And I don’t have an answer of why specifically me, I think its just because I’m a Sparrow man.”
Clarion was surprised by this discovery, how did she not notice before, that somehow, Milori was the only one that was taller than her. That explains how he could tackle her down so easily. She started blushing at the thought of how different winter fairies actually were in their physical attributes.
"What? You find that attractive, that I’m taller than the rest"— This man was enjoying every second of her torment —
She was now dying of second-hand embarrassment when he said it that way. It’s true, but not like that.
“Y’know, I really loved they way you squirmed below my touch back there in the woods. Reminds me how easily I can just do anything to you with my height” — said as he pets her head — “Let’s go to sleep, I can explain any other questions tomorrow, its already late”
A thrill went down her spine due to knowing how much he loved being bigger than her—“But what about my subjects!? This was all a farse alarm, they must be scared. Also, I never told you I was gonna stay!” — she questioned
“They can wait for a while. Don’t act like you don’t want to stay, like I said, I’ve seen everything you did while I was gone. Right now, you are so happy to have me close. Let’s go to bed, I’m exhausted, we can send a letter there tomorrow.” — said in the middle of a yawn as he made his way to the bedroom.
Clarion remained still before she made her way to the bedroom. There were questions he has not answered completely, but she knew that he would just gaslight her and there were other worries for her right now. Glancing down at her core she could feel how needy she was. There was not a place where she could find privacy, so she had to suck it up. After entering the room, she closed the door while hiding her horniness. Milori was already comfy inside the bed waiting for her to enter between the sheets. The moment she laid down, he pulled her closer to her body and gave a sweet kiss on her lips before whispering sweet words.
"Clarion, stop fighting, I know you want me, please. I need you. At least give me a chance tomorrow. If you don’t want to stay after tomorrow, then you can leave." — he pleaded
Clarion saw him plead for her to accept the truth the both of them already knew. It was hard for her to submit to him.
“...I want you, but at the same time, every time I have you in front of me, I feel blocked. I don’t know how to explain I just... I don’t know, I feel like any of this is healthy, that everything will end up pretty bad” — said distressed
“You are just scared but keeping me away won’t fix anything Clarion. You need someone to guide you and that one is me. You are just nervous of not having control, leave that job to me. You don’t always need to be the one in charge with all the answers, you can just submit and follow your desires. Look how good you felt by following my orders. Your fragile mind relaxing below my grasp. You need me Clarion, and the best you can do is accept it.” — he was now just manipulating her
Clarion saw him in silence for some seconds. Even if what he was saying was the truth it was hard to accept it. The desire of giving in just grew at each moment, right now she felt like she was in Eden. Her dream could be completed with the act of saying one sentence. Knowing that if she denied him any further she would enter madness, she accepted.
"I need you, Milori. I’m scared, but I know that if I run away again my heart won’t hold much longer. I love you, so please never leave my side again." —
As she hid her face on his chest she could hear his heart beating like a drum. Once again, he took her in a tender kiss. Finally, after all this time she was going to give him a chance. The pair squeezed onto each other in need, the fire they neglected so long grew into a flare as their joy became palpable. Once they pushed each other away, their heads rested on the pillows while looking at each other in awe. Feeling completed, their faces got adorned by soft smiles.
“Tomorrow we’ll go to the town so we can plan how you can come to live here for real”
“But I can’t leave completely my subjects Milori, I need to stay in the palace. I could visit you.”
Not liking that answer, he changed his gaze into another direction thinking on how he could fix that situation. After a while he remembered something, he wanted to say to Clarion some time ago.
“I was thinking of something I saw at the Hall of Winter. In that book where we learned about the nightmares, I saw a page that mentioned a spell that could make me be able to cross the warm seasons. Maybe tomorrow we could go there and check on it. I could be able to go to the palace with you, and you could come to Winter without needing a coat.”
Clarion was now hopeful if this was true. Her dream could come to life, the two of them governing over Pixie Hollow.
“That’s amazing, but why didn’t you tell me before.”
“There was not any opportunity for it and again, you are the only one that can read it so I’m not sure what it says.”
“But then you would need to take off this collar from me when we are there”
“I don’t think that you are going to want to leave me after everything I saw and even if you did I could catch you easily” — he got closer to her, murmuring against her lips.
“Oh, is that threat? Maybe I would like to see you try...” — she smiled
He laughed and groped her waist to press her against his strong form. Gave her a final kiss and drifted to sleep
"Goodnight, my Queen"
"Goodnight, My Lord"

Thank you so much for reading, I would love to hear your opinions about this chapter on the comments. When I watched the movie Secret of the Wings I noticed that Milori is taller than Clarion which is weird cuz y'know SHE'S THE QUEEN so I tried to "justify" it here. The explanation is a lil trash but idk. I asked on reddit and discord to see if there was a canon reason of why this happens, but everyone said, "Well he's described as a tall sparrowman!" or "Well, error of continuity!" and that's it. I don't complain though, I like it. Its just that is funny that a random minister is taller than the queen. Anyways, enough yapping, thanks for reading. See ya' next Saturday.
