September 6th
Dear Diary,
Today, my brother Kai opened the mail and found a letter addressed to me, after hours of procrastinating and baking things to get my mind off of it, I finally open it.
“To Sei Satou,
You have been scouted by Hope’s Peak Academy to be this year’s Super High School Level Confectionist.
You will be placed in class 77-B with your home-room teacher being Koichi Kizakura.”
I showed Kai the letter and he told me about Hope’s Peak and the basics of it, it seems like a cool school.. orientation day is in 3 days, I might meet some new people there. Anyways I should end this entry, i’m going grocery shopping with Kai today.
I hope to meet my classmates soon.
September 9th
Dear Diary,
Today is the day of Hope’s Peak Orientation.
I went to the gym to get my uniform and my ID, key to my dormitories, map of the school and my supplies relating to my talent, Kai bought me two pink polka-dot bows for the occasion and they match my uniform so well. I went to the school’s kitchen and was so happy, they have so much cooking supplies and fancy ingredients. I got lost while heading to my homeroom class, this school’s really big..
turns out I was holding the map upside down.. woops!
I went to my dorm room and set all my stuff and decorated the space, there was a laptop and desk in the middle of the room but i already got a laptop so i won’t really need it.
After what felt like HOURS of wandering and going in circles to find Class 77-B, I found the room and walked in, everybody turned to look at me and I got a sudden jolt of embarrassment and looked away.. I went to my assigned seat and sat down, i grabbed my sketchbook from home and drew in it while the teacher was talking about Hope’s Peak.
and then I heard someone to my left, I think they said somethin' like this..
“OHH, NICE DRAWIN’, didn’t know we had a Super High School Level Artist in our class, Name’s Nekomaru Nidai! What’s your name?”
wow. he was reallly… really loud.. i jolted and turned to look at him and aghhhh… he was looking directly at me.. I glared away and told him my name is Sei Satou and that i’m the Super High School Level Confectionist.
“Ohh… so you’re not an artist, well… my bad for assuming..”
“that’s ok.. I don’t mind at all!“
uhhh I didn’t know what else to say to him so I just went back to drawing…
After the teacher was done talking, we all went to the whiteboard and introduced ourselves.. this school is interesting.. so from the introductions, my classmates names aree..

And myself. And then when it was my turn, i got up from my seat and went to the whieboard.
“Hi everybody.. My name is Sei Satou, i’m the Super High School Level Confectionist, I like baking sweet treats and piping and decorating cakes and other pastries; i can also make ice cream too.. That’s my personal favorite! I also sketch out ideas for my sweets and pastries, I hope to become great friends with all of you someday!“
aghhhh.. that was so cheesy..
I sat back down in my seat and then the teacher took us out of the classroom to go look around the school, I went back into the kitchen and thought about baking something for the class as a welcome gift..
also because i wanna be on their good side because i feel like that yakuza guy will tear me to shreds..
I decided on making red velvet cookies for the class and got to baking.
After they finished baking, i headed off to the classroom and walked in.
”..hi everybody, I.. I baked cookies for you all..”
As everybody got up to get a cookie from the tray, the guy from earlier commented about the cookies.
“WOAH!!! SEI!! THIS IS REALLY GOOD!! THANKS FOR THE COOKIES!!“
“you’re welcome...“
After the school day, I went to the local grocery store to buy some energy drinks because I ran out after drinking all 12 of them yesterday out of anxiousness and fear of what my classmates would think of me..
I reeeeallly regret that because i was jittery and tired all day..
After i checked out the 12-pack box, I went to the exit, i bumped into someone really hard and fell backwards.
”AGH! …?”
“oh sorry about that.. OH! HI!!“
“uhhh... hi... well.. see ya.“

After that, I went back to the school and went to my dorm room and played games on my laptop for a bit.
I hope to see my classmates again soon.
September 10th
Dear Diary,
woah.. my birthday is a month away.. i’ll be 16 already?? woah.. Anyways I finally modded my New 3DS XL!! I procrastinated at modding it but when I did it, it was surpisingly easy! I downloaded a bunch of games i was never able to get and stayed up all night playing Pokémon Moon, Tomadachi Life & Kirby Planet Robobot.
I went to my class and sat down for homeroom, after the teacher was done talking, I mustered up the courage to go and socialize with Nanami.
“Hey.. Nanami... you have a 3DS, right..?“
“Oh! Yeah definitely! Did you wanna play with me?“
“Yeah! I stayed up all night playing Pokémon Moon! I was wondering if you had one so we could do a battle...“
“Of course!“
Me and Chiaki played Pokémon together for a while. Then Chiaki got an idea.
“Hey, Sei! What if we play games with the others tomorrow, i’ll bring all my consoles!!!“
“Yeah... I’d like that..!“
After a while of being in homeroom, it was time for PE. I got dressed in my sports clothes in the locker room, as i was about to put on my shoes.. I heard a loud explosion coming from the bathroom stalls..
I was shaken up from the sound and i slowly peeked into the boy’s bathroom to see what it was and.. THERE WAS AN ENTIRE FUCKING HOLE IN THE WALL?! IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE BLEW THE ENTIRE STALL UP!!! ..i was absolutely dumbfounded and just walked away slowly.
When we all lined up at the start of the track, the teacher explained we had to do 3 laps across the track, I didn’t really have a problem with it since i still have super-speed for some reason.
“ON YOUR MARK, GET SET.. GO!!“
I sprinted with all my might and did all the laps in less than 3 minutes.. i dropped down on the grass and took a minute to catch my breath.
“woah!! that was really cool, Sei!“
“oh.. hi! you’re Owari, right..?”
”Yep! oh by the way, thanks for those really yummy cookies yesterday! you’re a good baker!”
”thanks..”
I talked to Owari a bit, we grew a bit closer.
I went to the kitchen to bake something but Teruteru was there cooking what seems to be curry and rice.
“ah! hi, Satou!”
”hi.. Hanamura, right?”
“Yep! hey, Satou.. do you think Pekoyama has a black thong?“
…
“...what.“
“be honest.. yes or no?“
“..no, why are you even telling me this...“
I walk away and ignore his blabbering, i go get things to bake, i settle on baking an Angel Food Cake and get to baking.
After whisking the batter, pouring the mix into a tray, putting it in the oven, and piping it and adding decorations... The cake is finally done!
Carefully holding the cake, I walk to my homeroom class and open the door.
“..hi everyone, I baked this cake for you all..“
I got a cake cutter and cut exactly 15 pieces for everybody.
“AH! SEI!! you really shouldn’t have.. Thank you..“
“awhh! thank you so much, Satou! you’re so sweet..“
“WOAH! thanks, Sei!“
“...thanks“
“ah! thank you so much, Sei!“
“..You’re welcome, everybody..!”
I was really embarrased when everyone thanked me for the cake I baked..
After a few hours, Mioda suggested thay we all watch a movie, we all pitched movies and she did a draw, Mioda annouced the results and Nanami won, we all watched Wreck-It Ralph and i fell asleep around the middle of the movie, when i woke up; i was in my dorm room.
I look forward to playing games with the others tomorrow.
