Summary
A darker version of the world in which Ultron wins, the Avengers lose, and Tony learns the meaning of "be careful what you wish for". The hard way. Tony and Bruce create Ultron as a peacekeeping asset which backfires in the most horrifying way possible. Ultron is a master manipulator and the mess in Sokovia is really just part of a larger power-grab. With the world in a headlock, a guilt-stricken Tony surrenders to Ultron and it’s pretty much all downhill for Stark from there.

To say that he was surprised that he wasn’t dead was an understatement, but the warm body lying next to him was an even bigger shock. He physically recoiled at the bleach-blond woman who wasn’t his wife snoring gently into the pillow next to him, and he didn’t need to see the face to know this stranger’s presence was deeply, horribly wrong.

The Avengers won but the universe lost the moment Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones native to their dimension. The borrowed Stones could tell that this universe was already unravelling, falling apart and doomed to destruction.
So when given the opportunity to fix it before they returned to their timelines?
They grabbed it.

All Tony knows is this: one minute, he is fighting the villain of the week alongside Doctor Strange, the next, he’s being spit-balled through a portal, where he crash-lands on the other side in nothing but his street clothes and a generous layer of sweat.
Now he's stuck in a world where he's not Iron Man, he's not a billionaire, and his body is acting really fucking weird. Not to mention, people keep using words around him that he doesn't understand, words like "omega" and "alpha" and "heat."
To top it all off, the Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes of this world have apparently decided Tony is their soulmate or some shit like that.
