Dla Petera Parkera jest to okazja do wyrwania się choć na chwilę od nadopiekuńczej ciotki i próby samodzielnego życia. Niestety trafia w szpony dalekiego kuzyna, który jest na prostej drodze do zostania najbardziej nadopiekuńczym.
Wanda stara się pozbyć swojego największego wroga, pozostając nie przyłapana przez chłopaka i brata.
Pietro ma dosyć ciągle wtrącającego się w jego sprawy starszorocznego łucznika. Sam już się pogubił na czym stanęło w ich relacji.
Clint najbardziej na świecie chciałby poderwać swojego crusha, ale nie za bardzo wie jak się za to zabrać no i mu nie idzie.
Tony chce jak najlepiej dla swojego kuzyna, chce ochronić go przed całym złem świata. Steve stara się go utemperować, co zakrawa o miano syzyfowej pracy.
Chris (dla przyjaciół Thor) stara się naprawić stosunki z bratem w najgorszy możliwy sposób - namolnie go nadchodząc.
Loki ma dość praktycznie wszystkiego i wszystkich. Przy zdrowych zmysłach trzyma go jedynie myśl, że w końcu będzie sam decydował o sobie. -

He swallowed, and Gamora wondered if she had ever seen him so vulnerable. Not for a long time, not since he had first come to Sanctuary, before he had been hardened. Just like her and Nebula had been. They had all been forged in the same flames, hadn’t they?
“Please, Sister?”
She looked at him, silent and trying to hide the fidgeting of his hands behind his back, and caught his eye, watching as he held his breath. She recalled what Drax had said: Family. She wanted hers whole.
And then Gamora smiled softly at her brother, and gestured up the gangplank. “Welcome aboard, Loki.”

What if Loki had never been sent to Earth by Thanos? What if he stayed on Sanctuary for years, spending time with Gamora and Nebula and others of the Black order until 2014, when he was sent with the sisters to aid Ronan in his quest? What if, soon after, Loki joined the Guardians of the Galaxy?
I just wanted to write a fic where Loki Nebula and Gamora bond and become siblings, and Loki joins the GotG for wacky space hijinks, okay?

Gamora is not unhappy with her life, which is more than she has ever been able to say before. But she doesn't necessarily have everything she wants, either. There was something different about working with the Guardians; about working with Quill. A familiarity and a spark that had made it thrilling in a way she wouldn’t have thought possible. A feeling she would very much like to have again, dangerous as that might feel to admit.
Gamora is not bound by anyone or anything now. She does what she wants to do. Including, but not limited to, traveling to Earth on a whim to see Peter Quill.

The whole ship is like that: alive with light, as if light were the blood in its veins. It still bothers him when he's not tired enough to sleep, but he's starting to get used to it. Starting to appreciate that the thing he lives inside is almost as much of an organism as he is. Strange, but also strangely reassuring.
Sometimes when he lies in the dark here, cocooned in his bunk, he wonders what it's like in the tube. If it's quiet. He hopes it's restful. Peaceful. Soft, like the sleep of late morning, with sun coming in from around the drapes. Steve wonders if the translucent panel that covers and shields and contains him also lets in light. If behind his closed eyelids, he can still see something, the way that Steve can when he shuts his own eyes here, now. If he is seeing a kind of permanent sunrise; a long dream of a slow dawn.

Peter Quill was special, anyone who met him knew that. From those he left behind on Terra (no friends, sick mom), to the Ravagers (Terran, Yondu's favorite), extending even to the Guardians (Held an infinity stone, the endless 'music').
But they figured that sure little Peter was a bit odd, but he was harmless, sure Quill was weird, but he also brought in the money, and murdered none of them, so whatever.
Even his fellow Guardians, though they knew his tricks, fell into the trap of underestimating him, thinking him much less dangerous than his teammates.
Boy were they all so, so very wrong.
(Have not seen Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 yet, so I don't know if I'm going to take it into account.)

Wait, the rings. Crap, the rings! Where’d he put the rings? All he had to do was find the rings, and then everything would go off without a hitch. Absolutely nothing could go wrong with him trying to find the rings, right? This wedding was going to be perfect.
(Or: Tony swears the universe is trying to keep him and Pepper from tying the knot while Peter’s having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Seriously, who let Norman Osborn into the church?)
