    I apologize I’m a bit of a slow reader but I wanted to start this today (I’m impatient, can you tell?) so I’m gonna read the first one!!

    I love her inner monologue, makes reading it kind of like absorb you in

    “Pity for the woman who didn’t know what she wanted, pity for the mage who didn’t want to choose freedom.” Rough 🙂‍↕️

    How the “There will be a trial, I can promise nothing more.” Repeats faster and faster has got me sweatin’!

    I love that she was still going around and helping even as she was running away 🥹

      YOURE SO SWEET THANK YOU! It's okay, I understand needing time to set your brain up for something new! It's why I had Something's Gotta Give open in a tab on my phone for about two weeks before I finally made the plunge to read it. I'm really excited to hear your thoughts along the way.

      I'm so glad the repetition of that line hit as it was intended! I really debated whether I would keep it, but I really love the way some thoughts become so strong that they sort of override everything else. I initially only had it come up once or twice, but it just fit so well! I really wanted to nail that Ophelia was leaving out of an understandable fear. Something I didn't think we got to experience for long in the game because obvs it needed us to be a future inquisitor. She's a bit of a coward, but not the type of person to leave people hanging if she can avoid it. 🥹
