Summary
Heero read the employee handbook and regulations cover-to-cover, so had Duo, but neither of them had thought that the non-fraternization policy would apply to them when they joined the Preventers. It takes six months before they convince Une to let them undermine the policy and partner. Drama and shenanigans with Duo and his partners ensue.

Summary
Duo has lost loved ones before, but never someone he was in love with. It shouldn't make a difference, but it does. When he lost people he loved before, he picked up their pieces and carried them with him. Losing Heero leaves him shattered. When the deep undercover request comes across Une's desk, she gives it to Duo, hoping maybe a mission, no matter how dark, how dangerous, will give him the will to pick up his own pieces and move forward. When Jesus Reyes, the shadowy lord of the Kings Cartel, becomes infatuated with Duo, it's too good an opportunity to pass up. After all--what does Duo have left to lose?

Summary
For Duo Maxwell, family are the people he has loved and lost and whose names he bears.
For Tony Stark, family has always been blood and a name and Howard's shadow looming over him.Tony tried to make a family of choice with the Avengers, but that hasn't gone so great. When the Family Reunification Registry identifies a Duo Maxwell as his son, Tony tries to find him and offer him a family he didn't know he had. The first time Tony lays his eyes on his son in person, it's in a police interview room. Turns out, that's not the most complicated part.

Summary
Before Ashes and Smoke was integrated into the Stars That Have People Names series as the background for Stand Without Flinching, it was going to be a standalone story.
I wrote a number of scenes from the original planned sequel of Ashes, and rather than keep them in my drafts, I thought I'd share for anyone who might be interested.
So if you'd like to see some of Duo and Heero's kids--learning about their their parents and see how I originally planned to have Heero and Duo find one another again, read ahead. Some of these scenes are incomplete and there's a lot of connecting scenes missing (I wrote the fun parts first).
Warning: This is the abandoned fic account. Any fics posted here are abandoned and will not be finished, so read at your own risk.
