So I’m writing small anti-R/L drabbles around an AU based on Phantom248’s concept for “Promise” cause I liked the concept and huge credits to Phantom248.Basically, in “Promise” Tywin offers to rebuild Summer Hall to make Cersei Rhaegar’s queen and Aerys accepts because he wants Summer Hall restored cause ‘Targaryen supremacy’ but Summer Hall is more of a ‘Lannister power’ symbol (not that anyone tells Aerys that).
And Cersei ends up marrying Rhaegar, has his kids, and hordes Rhaella & Viserys at Summer Hall whenever she can.
Jaime marries Elia cause Tywin doesn’t wanna take chances in case Aerys decides that he wants Elia’s distant valyrian ancestry for Rhaegar.
And Rhaegar is still an idiot obsessed with things that shouldn’t take importance over what is important at the moment.

_____________Alicent marries the prince rather than the king as her father had plotted. The marriage is doomed from the start, and so are her children from the marriage.
The annulment is perhaps not much of a surprise to her. But unfortunately for Alicent Hightower, she’s newly pregnant and this upcoming annulment would mean stripping her unborn child of their legitimacy as a Targaryen royal.
But even with stripped legitimacy and their mother’s family name, Alicent’s surviving children with Daemon are still Targaryens.
And the Hightowers of Oldtown still desire to see their blood on the Iron Throne. And with the crumbling Targaryen family, it looks like that dream is going to be attempted to be fulfilled wether Alicent wants to or not…

Rhaena wanted to scream as she saw Maegor’s six children from his first wife, Ceryse Hightower, in attendance to her ‘wedding’ to her tyrannical uncle (the father of the Targaryen-Hightower children).
Maegor had taken Rhaena, Elinor Costayne, and Jeyne Westerling to wife all at once in order to triple his chances of getting more sons.
Maegor had Rhaena’s brother Viserys marry his daughter Maegelle so to avoid marrying the young woman out of the Targaryen family.
As well as to produce more descendants and to make those who opposed Maegor hesitate to support Aenys’s remaining children. Especially if Aenys’s second son had children with Maegor’s eldest daughter.

Something that had been supported by Lord Cregan Stark, Rowlf’s father and Sansa’s grandfather, after Rowlf had told the old man of him and Benjen’s own promise to Rickon before their (Rickon and Benjen’s) unfortunate deaths in Dorne during the failed Conquest of Dorne by Daeron I Targaryen.
